Billy-Ray Burton traumatized by Harry Potter

Splashnews_iluk290407a_003_cbbBilly-Ray Burton, 3 1/2, son of Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter, won’t be among the millions of kids seeing Helena as Bellatrix Lestrange in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix this summer after a slightly nerve-wracking experience with the third film. As part of research for her role, Helena let Billy-Ray, whose godfather is Johnny Depp, join her for a viewing of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and he barely got through the opening minutes.
It was the one where his aunt blows up into a huge balloon and floats out of the window. That was really traumatic! It was a mistake.
The actress is enjoying motherhood and says it has made her more relaxed, which she attributes to living in her native London.
There are a lot of good things about [motherhood]. Only good, really. Definitely [helps not living in LA]. No, don’t like that place. Neither of us do. He hates it – even though he was born there, he couldn’t wait to get out, I think. LA is so boring. There is a monotony to it.
Tim has also made a habit out of filming in London and hiring British actors and crew members – something for which Helena hopes he’ll get on the British honours list so she and Billy-Ray can reap some title perks.
Then I could be a Lady and Billy could be the half-honourable Billy Burton.

UPDATE: Johnny Depp on acting hiatus until Lily-Rose recovers

Update: E! Online is reporting that Johnny is currently looking after Lily-Rose at their home in Bath. His absence, though, might cost the crew at Pinewood Studios, where Sweeney Todd is being filmed, its job. The crew has been told its members will be out of work should Johnny not return to set.

Originally posted Wednesday, March 14: According to British press, Johnny Depp is putting family first and will not return to work on his new film Sweeney Todd until his daughter, Lily-Rose, fully recovers from the mysterious illness that afflicted her two weeks ago.

Production has reportedly halted on the Tim Burton-directed flick, which is filming in London. A source says,

He does not want to come back until Lily-Rose gets the all-clear. The plan is to re-employ everybody when she is better.

As previously reported, Lily-Rose, 7, was hospitalized for more than a week at the end of February for what is rumored to be blood poisoning that spread to her vital organs after stepping on a nail. She was released last week and was doing much better, according to Johnny’s rep.

Johnny and his longtime girlfriend, French singer/actress Vanessa Paradis, also have a 4-year-old son, Jack.
