Alice Richmond not impressed by mom's Sesame Street appearance

Tina_fey_062107_02_cbbTina Fey guest starred on the season premiere of Sesame Street Monday nightand has said she was looking forward to showing her daughter AliceZenobia, 23 months, the episode. Alice has seen it and, unfortunately, wasn’t excited to see mom.

She watched because Elmo was in it, but she didn’t seem to notice or care that it was me.

Tina’s guest spot isn’t the only thing lost on Alice, her daughter withhusband Jeff Richmond. The 30 Rock star, 37, was named one of TIMEmagazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World this year, butadmits she remains powerless at home.

It’s funny when that came out, I couldn’t even get my daughter to letme change her diaper. I’m not sure who I’m influencing, but I’ll try toproceed with caution as if I am influencing anybody.

The actress made the list mostly due to her work on her NBC sitcom, which, while critically acclaimed, has been on the lower end of theratings spectrum. The Emmy-nominated show is returning for a second season, but Tinaconfesses she won’t really mind if it ends prematurely either as itwould allow more downtime with Alice.

It’s hard to say because some days I think, ‘Well, if we go the route of Arrested Development I can raise my kid because I won’t be at work so much.’ But it would be nice to be The Office, too — it remains to be seen.

Rainn Wilson's son is in "poop denial"

Intouch4_cbbThe Office star Rainn Wilson and his wife Holiday Reinhorn are nearing a pivotal point in parenthood – the two plan on toilet training their son, Walter McKenzie, 2 1/2, soon. But there is a slight issue. Rainn tells Jay Leno on The Tonight Show of his son’s potty problem.

He’s in what I would call ‘poop denial.’ Well like you will see him in what is obviously some kind of pooping activity. Like he’ll be hiding in the corner, propping himself and he’ll have, like, a ‘poop face’ on. And you’ll go, ‘Walter, are you pooping?’ And he’ll be like, "No, no, not pooping!’ And it’s obvious that he is.

Walter does have a code word to alert not only his parents, but himself as well, of when he is pooping.

He always says ‘hi’ when he’s pooping, so he knows. So he’ll be here and he’ll have the face and he’ll go, ‘Hi, hi, hi!’ But he’ll deny it. It’s the weirdest thing. And he’ll want you to stay away. He’ll go, ‘No, stay!’ So I dunno how we’re gonna train him because [he's] like, ‘Leave me alone, leave me alone!’

Rainn says he realizes no progress can be made until Walter can accept when he’s defecating.

It’s like someone with a drug problem – you have to acknowledge there’s a problem before you can move forward. He’s gotta acknowledge he’s pooping before we can…so I dunno how that’s gonna go.

Featured are Joely Fisher, Smallville‘s Justin Hartley, Numb3rs star Alimi Ballard and The Office’s Rainn Wilson, each photographed with their kids in their favorite places, which range from dressing rooms to kitchens.

Joely decorated her ‘Til Death dressing room to give it a bohemian feel, where daughters Skylar Grace, 5 1/2, and True Harlow, 14 months, with husband Christopher Duddy, are frequent visitors.
