Update: Rep for Casey Affleck confirms Summer Phoenix's pregnancy; expecting second son

Update: Casey and Summer are expecting another boy, USA Today reports. The paper caught up with Casey at the Toronto Film Festival, where he revealed the news.

Originally posted Sept. 8: A rep for Casey Affleck confirmed news that the actor, 32, and his wife, actress Summer Phoenix, 28, are expecting their second child. Spokeswoman Rebecca Feferman said the child is due this winter, but declined to give any other details.

They’re very happy and excited about the new addition to their family.

Although the couple previously remained tight-lipped about the pregnancy, they turned up at the Venice Film Festival for the premiere of Casey’s new film The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford on September 2nd looking visibly pregnant.

Casey and Summer also have also have a three year old son, Indiana August.

Actors Casey Affleck, 32, and Summer Phoenix, 28, arrive at Toronto airport to depart on a flight with their son, Indiana August, 3, on Monday. The couple expect their second son together this winter. The family were in town for the promotion of Casey’s new film The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.
