Pam Anderson talks about how much she loves being a mom

Actress and activist Pam Anderson has two boys – Brandon, 10, and Dylan, 9 (with ex-husband rocker Tommy Lee) – and she says that that being their mom is her favorite job of all.

[My kids] are my number-one priority.  I try to do my best and am completely dedicated to them.  We are very happy, and I think I am a great mom.  For Valentine’s Day my boys gave me my own Oscar for Best Mom, and that’s all I could ever wish for.

When asked if she has advice for other parents, she says to just be present in the kids’ day-to-day life.

Just be with your kids.  They love it when you are involved.  It’s a challenge and the best reward.  One day a week, I do the school patrol, where you get the kids out of the cars and get them to their classes.  People get out of the car and high-five me and say ‘You are great for doing this!’

She also talked about the challenges of being a single-mom in the spotlight – and says that she sends her best wishes to fellow famous single-mom, Britney Spears.

When you are scrutinized in public and judged by people who have no idea what is going on, it can be devastating.  I wish her well and I am sure she will overcome this.
