Miro Sorvino celebrated New Years Eve with kids

The New York Post reports that Mira Sorvino brought her kids, Mattea Angel Backus, 2, and Johnny Backus, 7 months old, to her New Year Eve’s party at New York hotspot, Nikki Beach Midtown. (Maybe she couldn’t find a sitter?) The family celebrated from 11 pm – 1:30 am. The Post‘s source says that Mira put headphones on the kids, "to protect them from the noise." Apparently, Mattea didn’t want to leave the shindig- she threw a tantrum because she didn’t want the fun to end!

Actress Mira Sorvino and her son Johnny Christopher King, 6 months, attended the Gotham Awards in NYC last evening. Johnny wears his Robeez booties in brown ($37), as well as an Independent toddler beanie in maroon from Little Ruler ($19). What a happy little guy he is!
