Tori Spelling thanks husband for the 'greatest gift in the world'

Torideanliam As she celebrates the launch of her second jewelry line with the Home Shopping Network, the survival of her bed & breakfast despite dangerously close proximity to the recent California wildfires and the second season of her reality-tv show Tori & Dean: Inn Love, actress Tori Spelling has much to be thankful for this holiday season.  But it should come as no surprise to CBB readers that when asked in a recent interview what is the best gift she’s ever received, son Liam Aaron, 7 1/2-months would be her reply.

My husband gave me our son!  Hands down the greatest gift in the world.

In fact, Liam is an integral part of Tori’s routine when she needs to wind-down from the stresses of everyday life.  Said Tori,

I hang out with my son and just watch new life through his curious eyes.  I could stare at him for hours — it calms me and really puts life into perspective.

Tori has been married to Dean McDermott since May 2006.

Reviews: Dear Johnnies Hospital Gowns

Cbb_reviewed_at_pinkRecently, when Tori Spelling opened up to U.S. Weekly about the birth of her son, Liam Aaron McDermott, she mentioned that though her diaper bag wasn’t packed (Tori went into labor over two weeks before her due date), she made sure to grab her dearjohnnies nightgown prior to leaving for the hospital. Some of my favorite dearjohnnies features include snaps down the back (to hide your tush from visitors) and shoulder snaps that make breastfeeding easier.  It’s SO much more comfortable to be in a gown for a while after deliverybut so unfashionable to be wearing the hospital gown so dearjohnnies is really a greatsolution.

Tori & Dean: Inn Love premieres tonight

McdermottTori Spelling and Dean McDermott‘s new reality show, Tori & Dean: Inn Love, premieres tonight on Oxygen at 10:30p/9:30C.  The show follows Tori and Dean as they make a new start and run a bed and breakfast.  After selling their belongings at a yard sale, the couple invested Tori’s $800,000 inheritance from her father in a B&B which they name Chateau la Rue (after their dog Mimi la Rue), renovating it, and opening it to the public.  The show starts out with Tori five months pregnant and follows the family through the birth of their first child, Liam Aaron McDermott, and the running of their new business.

You can stay at Chateau la Rue, although Tori and Dean won’t be there during her maternity leave.

Candy Spelling initiated reconciliation with Tori

According to E!, a source says it was Candy Spelling that initiated the reconciliation between her and her daughter, Tori Spelling.

"She sent Tori an email about three or four weeks ago," the source said. The source says that Tori and Candy have only communicated through two email exchanges, "They didn’t talk in person or even on the phone, it was just those emails." The two apparently did not meet in person until Tori went into Labor with baby Liam [McDermott], "They didn’t come face-to-face until Candy went to the hospital when Tori was in labor, and Candy has been back to the hospital more than once."

Candy Spelling's joy at being a grandmother

Candy Spelling is a grandmother now thanks to her daughter, actress Tori Spelling, who gave birth to her first child, a son named Liam Aaron on Tuesday. Candy and Tori , who have had a very public mother/daughter estrangement, have been working on rebuilding their relationship (in part for baby Liam’s benefit), which reportedly enabled Candy to present at the hospital during his birth. She just can’t express how thrilled she is be a grandma.

“Words can’t describe the joy and elation I feel at this truly happy event,” Candy Spelling was quoted telling People. “I am looking forward to doting on my new little grandson and all the memorable fun that comes with it.”

Liam’s father is Tori’s husband, actor Dean McDermott. The two star in their own reality show, Tori & Dean: Inn Love, premiering Tuesday on the Oxygen network.Source: Yahoo News

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott welcome their son

Update:
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott welcomed their son, Liam Aaron McDermott, today. Liam arrived by c-section and weighed in at 6 lbs, 6 oz, when he was born at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Star Magazine has a photo of Tori and Dean arriving at the hospital.  She definitely looks like she’s in pain!

According to Extra, Tori Spelling went into labor with her and husband Dean McDermott‘s first child together.  They checked into LA’s Cedars-Sinai Hospital (where many celebs give birth, including Julia Roberts). Their baby is a boy whose middle name will be Aaron, after Tori’s father, Aaron Spelling, who passed away last year.

What do you think his first name will be?
