Actress Keri Russell, 31, and her son River Russell Deary, 1 1/2 weeks, were spotted out in NYC on Thursday. The multi-tasking mama did her laundry, stopped at Whole Foods for a bag of groceries, and got an iced coffee. Keri and husband Shane Deary welcomed their son on Saturday, June 9th.

Keri wears River in a PSling New York Avant Wave in blue ($350+; available in store only). Keri has the tail of the sling wrapped around the rings. She could wear her son a bit higher, but the fourth pic shows why we love babywearing — you get to use both your hands for other things!

Originally posted 5:30 pm: Actress Keri Russell, 31, and her husband Shane Deary recently welcomed their first child — but no details have been released. A Gawker Stalker reader spotted Keri, Shane, and a bundled baby at 9 pm last evening listening to music in NYC, and said mom and baby were ‘both adorable.’
Keri was due last Monday, June 11th, and had planned on a midwife-assisted birth.

CoverGirl spokeswoman and soon-to-be new mom Keri Russell‘s web reality show The Keri Kronicles debuted exclusively on the CoverGirl MySpace page today. The monthly series gives an in-depth look at Keri’s life as she prepares for and tackles motherhood.
The first episode was filmed this month and finds the Waitress star shopping around the West Village for baby supplies.
There are so many things that I don’t have. I don’t know if I’m having a boy or girl, first of all, so it makes shopping for baby stuff a little hard.
Keri, 31, will also personally answer any questions left on the MySpace page and urges viewers to check back next month as she would have a lot more to talk about.
Next month, I’ll have a baby, so come back and there’ll be all sorts of new news about that!
