Julie Bowen literally worked until the last minute on Boston Legal when she went into labor. Co-star William Shatner recounts the hectic atmosphere on set Tuesday night.Her little muscles contracted until the scene was over, and ‘Bang!’ Her water broke. I followed the trail for as long as I could and then I lost it.
Julie gave birth to her first child, son Oliver McLanahan, with husband Scott Phillips later that night.

Update: Oliver McLanahan Phillips arrived at 10:15 pm last evening, weighing in at 6 lbs., 15 oz, and 19 inches long.

Julie and her husband Scott Phillips had not found out the sex of the baby before the delivery, so it’s all a surprise…stay tuned!

They aren’t finding out the sex until the delivery, and Julie has vowed to bring the baby to Boston Legal with her and "shock" castmates by nursing on set – although we certainly don’t find anything shocking about that – just normal!
