Emma Bunton models fall/winter maternity line for Mamas & Papas

If you live in the UK and you are expecting a baby, rest assured that you have a stylish fall and winter ahead of you — thanks to the new line of maternity fashion from Mamas & Papas.  Eleven collections in four autumn ‘ranges’ called ‘Pure,’ ‘Evolution,’ ‘Playtime’ and ‘Tribal’ will begin hitting stores Aug. 6.  To help Mamas & Papas launch their new designs, they enlisted Emma Bunton, who hand-picked her favorite pieces to model — you can check out her posing here.

Picture_1Among the items singled out by the pregnant Spice Girl is the printed jersey dress (£40).

This is the perfect day dress. I wear this with a little lace camisole in mustard underneath to contrast with the vintage print.  The best thing about this dress is that it makes my tan look great too.

Picture_2Emma also likes the £40 embellished jeans, which fit so well Emma says they are "like a second skin."

I love them so much I have had to wash them nearly every day.  I almost live in them…I never thought I would find such a great-fitting pair of jeans for my pregnancy.

Emma, who is expecting a baby at any time, said Mamas & Papas was the first store she visited upon learning of the pregnancy, her first with fiance Jade Jones.  Although the couple has opted not to find out the sex of their child, they have a hunch that the baby-to-be is a girl.

Mamas & Papas has 32 stores throughout the UK and Ireland, as well as locations in the United Arab Emirates.

Rumor: Emma Bunton makes plaster cast of baby bump

Bellycast An ‘excited’ Jade Jones reportedly made an impromptu visit to a North London salon late last week to purchase a do-it-yourself belly casting kit for his heavily pregnant girlfriend Emma Bunton.  Jade settled on Everlasting Castings $60 ‘Deluxe’ kit, which comes complete with splash-proof instructions, a plaster bandage, Vaseline, plastic sheeting, a legs & panties protector, two pairs of gloves in two sizes, an apron, a picture hook & a silver ribbon. Said a salon employee:

When I asked if the kit was for him, he laughed and said, ‘No, not for me, but I do have a bit of a belly, though.’

Emma is due at any time; The baby will be the first for she and Jade, who have dated for eight years.

Emma Bunton unaware of pregnancy while on dance show

Emma Bunton showed no signs of morning sickness during her stint on the BBC1 show Strictly Come Dancing. Her dance partner, Darren Bennett, revealed that Baby Spice endured weeks of strenuous rehearsals and workouts and made it all the way to the semi-finals without realizing she was in her first trimester of pregnancy.

We didn’t know Emma was pregnant until she announced it after the show had finished. It is very physically demanding doing the rehearsals and the shows but it must have been even more so for Emma. She did feel fatigued but she put that down to the amount of physical work and she still carried on and did very well.

Emma, 31, certainly had her work cut out for her. Rehearsals lasted up to six hours a day and she had to learn four dances in a week one time. But she still made it through and impressed her on-screen partner as well with her dance work ethic. Darren also joked about the paternity of the baby since Emma spent so much time on the dance floor.

If Emma’s baby comes out dancing I’ll be asking some questions! The baby is nothing to do with me!

Emma is expecting her first child this summer with her boyfriend of eight years, singer Jade Jones.
