Celebrity Moms and Dads hit the Golden Globe Swag Suites
The week before the 64th Annual Golden Globes Award, no fewer than 10 luxury gifting suites were held in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills. Here are five that our CBB Swag Correspondent Jenna checked out in person.
Plenty of celebrity moms and dads hit The Silver Spoon Hollywood Buffet held at a private estate in Beverly Hills where they were shown the latest in fashion, beauty products, services and more. Celebrity mom-to-be, Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott stopped by as did 24‘s Roger Cross who brings his son everywhere. Celebutante-mom-extraordinaire Kathy Hilton made an appearance as did Celebrity daughters Jennifer Crystal and Brittany Gastineau. (Click here and herehere for photos.)
At the Kari Feinstein PR Style Lounge, Brooke Shields left kids Rowan and Grier, while she checked out the beautifully soft line of Kensington Play Mats from Plain Mary and snagged a gorgeous "B" pendant from Tacori. Lost’s Yunjin Kim picked up a rich purple dress from mom-to-be Jaime Pressly‘s clothing line, J’aime, which launched last October. (Click here for photos.)
At the Liberace Golden Globe Suite, a stylist for the most well-known Hollywood parents, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, picked out Dainese motorcycle jackets for the couple as she had spied a couple in Brad’s closet. Lorraine Nicholson, daughter of Jack Nicholson and Rebecca Broussard walked away with 2 pairs of skinny Diesel jeans and a "Mod Squad" inspired black and white zig-zag dress from ABS collection.
Direct from France, Fifibear’s Brasserie frozen organic baby food was given to celebs at the 2007 "World Experience" DPA Gifting Lounge and at the Backstage Creations Retreat (the "official" gifting suite of the Golden Globes), Greggy Girl showcased its "Miss Priss" terry cloth robe and matching slippers for the littlest showbiz divas in training. David Arquette was there and probably snagged one for daughter Coco.
At the GBK Productions’ Golden Globes Gift Suite, Leonardo DiCaprio was a good son and uncle. He picked up an Elezar handbag for his mom and a Pop-Art Toaster for his niece (it imprints images on your toast- hey, anything to get kids eat, right?). Charlie Sheen couldn’t get enough of the Bella Bears, which are made from vintage furs; he picked up two for his daughters, Sam and Lola. Rena Sofer gushed about all the Scene It? DVD games – the Disney and Nickelodeon versions – that she has at home and plays with kids Rosalind and Avalon.
