Elizabeth Hurley in London with Damien

Elizabeth Hurley, 41, was pictured with son Damien, 5, when they were walking home from school in London on Thursday. At the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s Annual Hot Pink Party on Tuesday, Elizabeth commented on her father-in-law’s bitter accusations, including complaints filed in court,

We’re so lucky for the good things that we kind of turn a blind eye to the bad things. My family is fantastic but we haven’t settled down into real life yet.

Liz and Indian businessman Arun Nayar married on March 3 in a lavish wedding ceremony.

Newlywed Elizabeth Hurley spent some quality time with her son Damian, 4 1/2, and new husband Arun Nayar in NYC. The trio had lunch on the Upper East Side and then headed off to toy store FAO Schwarz where Damian must have gotten something good since he appeared to be very excited and pleased when they left.

Why does everyone pick on Liz Hurley's son Damian?

You might not be aware of this because we try not to publish negative comments but it seems like whenever we post a photo of Elizabeth Hurley’s son Damian Charles Hurley, almost 5, people say they’re creeped out by him.And now Perez Hilton is in on it!

Is it because of his name or how he looks?  According to The Baby Name Bible: The Ultimate Guide By America’s Baby-Naming Experts, Damian, which in Greek means to tame or subdue, is a well-used upper-class name in England and is gaining popularity in the United States. In 2005, Damian spelled with an A was the 156th most popular name in the US.  (Damien with an E was 199th most popular name.)

Baby Name Bible co-author Linda Rosencrantz tells us, "Damian began to get popular in the UK in the mid-1970s.  Yes, around the time of The Omen and Alien.  It reached #46 on their list in 1975, but wasn’t  even in the Top 100 in 2006.  A satirical book, You Called Your Baby WHAT?, put out by one of the British tabloids accentuates the negative with the comment ‘A name guaranteed to cause horrible deaths and scare baboons.’"

Damian Hurley looks out for mom

Elizabeth_hurley_150bWho needs Kevin Costner when you can have Damian Hurley? Elizabeth Hurley says her 4-year-old son acts as her own personal bodyguard when they’re out in the streets in London.

London can be very tough still. Damian gets very upset when we are followed by the paparazzi all the time outside the house. He doesn’t understand why they are there. He wants to fight them and protect me. He hates being followed on the street.

Damian’s father is film producer Stephen Bing. Elizabeth is set to marry Indian businessman Arun Nayar on Saturday in the first of two extravagant ceremonies that will feature Damian as ring bearer in a mini groom’s tux.
