Tori Spelling reflects on first six months of motherhood

Torispelling279_cbbIt’s been six months since Liam Aaron McDermott‘s birth, but for ToriSpelling, it still feels like it was just yesterday. Theactress-turned-entrepreneur said on the Today Show Tuesday morning thatit’s definitely true what they say — everything happens so fast.

It’s great. It’s more amazingevery single day. It’s like getting to live life all over again throughnew eyes, like seeing everything he’s learning on a daily basis and thechanges he’s making. Everyone says it happens so fast — it reallyhappens so fast. It seems like I just gave birthyesterday.

Liam’s impending arrival famously served as a catalyst for healing therift between Tori and her mom Candy, and the 34-year-old is forevergrateful for it.

He is the best thing that could have happened to our family. When you have a baby, it just puts everything into perspective. You just realize any miscommunications, any ups and downs, you realize it’s aboutfamily. There’s that connection, there’s that bond that will always be there. So she’s great with him.

Also great with Liam is her husband, Dean McDermott, 40, who is always prepared to tend to their son.

Dean is so hands-on. It’s amazing. I got very lucky. Before I can get upto get a bottle, he jumps up he’s got a bottle in one hand, a diaper inthe other. He’s just really good.

Candy Spelling initiated reconciliation with Tori

According to E!, a source says it was Candy Spelling that initiated the reconciliation between her and her daughter, Tori Spelling.

"She sent Tori an email about three or four weeks ago," the source said. The source says that Tori and Candy have only communicated through two email exchanges, "They didn’t talk in person or even on the phone, it was just those emails." The two apparently did not meet in person until Tori went into Labor with baby Liam [McDermott], "They didn’t come face-to-face until Candy went to the hospital when Tori was in labor, and Candy has been back to the hospital more than once."
