Gwen Stefani and Kingston in London

Gwen Stefani and son Kingston, almost 8 months, were spotted taking a stroll in London. The family of three, including dad and husband, Gavin Rossdale are there to visit his relatives. Looks like Gwen has been experimenting with King’s hair again!

BoycamosocksKingston is wearing Trumpette’s newest patterned socks in Pastel Camo for Baby Boys ($24 for a set of 6).  They also come in Pastel Camo for Baby Girls as well as toddler socks ($6 each) and tights ($19.50). Trumpette baby socks (the ones that come in sets of 6) are supposed to fit 0-12 months but Anya has been able to wear them still.  Many people say that Trumpette socks are the only socks that stay on their babies’ feet.  Of course, it’s a completely different matter when your kid figures out how to pull them off!

Thanks to CBB readers Bella, Ameena, and Corinne, as well as Dominique and Sheri for the carrier info.

Gwen Stefani and Kingston Rossdale arriving at LAX

Lgchbktnew_lg_1We saw them land at Heathrow much in the same way last week, and now they’re back on US soil. Gwen Stefani again carries her son Kingston, who hits the 6 month mark later this week, in a ring sling by PSling New York – it’s the deep black fabric from their ‘Colors’ line ($150). She also totes a Little Giraffe Chenille blanket in Pine ($59).

Oopa Baby Slings

Oopa_images_087_1 We all know that babywearing has wonderful benefits that include better sleeping and breastfeeding patterns, and it also allows mom, dad, or even a caregiver to multitask without having to put baby down. Aside from the benefits, babywearing has also become a fashion trend over the past couple of years. With gorgeous silk slings from companies like Oopa Baby Slings, how can it not be?Product_0024_thumbnail

Oopa Baby, taking the more modern, feminine approach on slings, makes their product by hand from luxurious fabrics. Available in styles such as cotton chambray, cotton pique, and silk, these slings come in various colors. The silk slings are said to be the most comfortable with their silk charmuse lining, the 100% cotton pique slings are light-weight and washable, and the chambray slings are the toughest of all with their sporty, durable style that softens with each use.

Celebrity moms Jennifer Garner, Michelle Williams, Brooke Shields, Angelina Jolie, Katie Holmes, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Gwen Stefani all use Oopa Baby Slings.

I just received an Oopa Baby Sling in Chambray with Lime Green Floral. Not only is it beautiful and soft, but it’s surprisingly comfortable for a non-padded sling! I decided to try the Oopa Sling for use with my growing toddler, and I will now recommend it over other brands. There is enough fabric to use this sling well past baby’s first two years, and it’s very easy to adjust. Want to try it for yourself? The slings range in price from $75-$175, and are available at www.oopababy.com.

Read the extended post to see which gorgeous styles these celebrity moms have chosen for their slings.

Kate Hudson and family enjoy time in the Big Apple

KatehudsoninbigappleKate Hudson and husband Chris Robinson took time out as a family when they went for a stroll in the New York sunshine with their young son Ryder Russell.

The actress, who worked hard to shed the 60lbs she put on prior to Ryder’s January 7 arrival, is clearly maintaining her new svelte figure. And toting the youngster around in a papoose has presumably helped her burn off those extra calories.

As well as sharing stroller duties with her 37-year-old husband, at one point the Almost Famous star also strapped Ryder into a baby carrier, giving him a clear view of the Big Apple’s sights.

Kate, who recently finished her first post-baby film, a thriller entitled Skeleton Key – once described motherhood as "the most incredible thing", but admitted that "nobody ever tells you how hard it’s gonna be". Both she and Chris, a singer with the band Black Crowes, are revelling in their new roles, however. "We’re sharing something so gigantic now," she says. "I think it’s the best we’ve ever felt being together."
