Kate Hudson and husband Chris Robinson took time out as a family when they went for a stroll in the New York sunshine with their young son Ryder Russell.
The actress, who worked hard to shed the 60lbs she put on prior to Ryder’s January 7 arrival, is clearly maintaining her new svelte figure. And toting the youngster around in a papoose has presumably helped her burn off those extra calories.
As well as sharing stroller duties with her 37-year-old husband, at one point the Almost Famous star also strapped Ryder into a baby carrier, giving him a clear view of the Big Apple’s sights.
Kate, who recently finished her first post-baby film, a thriller entitled Skeleton Key – once described motherhood as "the most incredible thing", but admitted that "nobody ever tells you how hard it’s gonna be". Both she and Chris, a singer with the band Black Crowes, are revelling in their new roles, however. "We’re sharing something so gigantic now," she says. "I think it’s the best we’ve ever felt being together."
