Actor Leonardo DiCaprio fell in love with a little South African girl while he was in the country filming Blood Diamond and has decided to adopt her. However, he won’t be bringing her home to LA, but instead will send a check each month and "adopt her from a distance."

Originally posted 11 am: The adoption drama for Madonna continues. The popstar’s new son’s biological father reportedly wants to know how his son, 1-year-old David, is doing with Madonna and her family.
"I don’t have her phone and mailing addresses. All I want is to find out how my son is but I don’t know how I can do it," Yohane Banda told Malawi’s Daily Times newspaper. "I only talked to her once at the High Court and I want to talk to her now and find out about my child."
Madonna’s adoption is not completely official yet. She signed interim adoption papers, allowing David to stay with her for 18 months under the watchful eye of Malawian officials, who will then decide whether he can stay with the Ritchies.

Several not-so-reputable outlets are reporting that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony plan to adopt a Puerto Rican baby. Contactmusic.com cites “sources” which claim that despite great efforts to conceive a child J. Lo and Marc have realized that adoption may be their best shot at parenthood. The couple, who have been married since 2004, are reportedly seeking a Puerto Rican baby because both of their families hail from the island territory.
Marc has three children from previous relationships. Daughter Ariana (with ex-girlfriend Debbie Rosado) was born in 1994 and sons Christian and Ryan (with ex-wife Dayanara Torres) were born February 5, 2001 and August 16, 2003, respectively.

The host of America’s Next Top Model and The Tyra Banks Show is speaking out about her plans to adopt. "I don’t have to have a child come from my womb to have a connection. Children that are already born are beautiful to me. I can definitely be a mother to them," says Tyra Banks, who turned 33 December 3rd.
The unmarried Tyra is quick to ignore any rumors that she is simply following in the footsteps of other celeb parents like Angelina Jolie, Meg Ryan, and Sharon Stone, who have recently "popularized" adoption (all are ironically unmarried as well). "I’ve wanted to adopt since I was eight, nine years old. I really do think I will." No word on whether she plans to adopt in the US or internationally.

It has already been rumored that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie might adopt from Cambodia. Well, just as they did in India, they have now visited an orphanage in Vietnam. We don’t think this is because they want to adopt another child; they visited the orphanage in India and left with no child. They apparently visited on Thanksgiving to give out gifts and candy to the children. Their children Maddox, 5, Zahara, 22 months and Shiloh, almost 6 months, did not go with them.

PEOPLE is reporting the Angelina Jolie has arrived in Cambodia in an effort to support a conservation project, to which she has promised $1.3 million over 5 years. However, X17 is reporting that two weeks ago their correspondent in India said that Angelina was to travel to Cambodia to adopt another child. Brad Pitt and Angelina already have three childre; Maddox, 5, Zahara, 22 months, and Shiloh, almost 6 months. These rumors of another adoption continue to persist!!

Before news broke about her pregnancy and later her miscarriage, Pam Anderson admitted to OK magazine that although she and new hubby, Kid Rock already had three children together, there was a possibilty of adding to their family in the future… through adoption.
"Any time a child gets a chance at a better life, it’s a good thing," the actress said. "I’m really inspired, but I do have my hands full with my two and my new stepson. You never know. Bring it on!" The Canadian actress added, "I’d probably adopt from Canada though."
Pam was born on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, and later moved to Vancouver.
