Sarah Jessica Parker is known for her poise and grace both onscreen and off, so it should come as no surprise teaching her kids to be polite is a top priority for this parent.

“My daughters write thank you notes, and they’re just learning to read and be able to spell,” the actress told PEOPLE of her 4-year-old twins Tabitha and Loretta, while attending Thursday’s launch of her namesake collection for Hallmark.

“It takes a significant amount of time just to do one, and they need a lot of adult supervision.”

While the girls “aren’t required to do as much” as their big brother, James Wilkie, 11, Parker adds, “eventually they will be expected to share their appreciation with someone.”

Cold, but so cute!

On Dec. 13, we spotted Tabitha Broderick adorably bundled up for N.Y.C.’s chilly temps while walking to school.

The 4½-year-old trendsetter wore Catimini‘s faux fur-trimmed Tri-Color Puffer Coat ($220), a pink knit cap, cream leggings and bright red boots — an outfit we’re pretty sure Sarah Jessica Parker‘s S&TC character Carrie Bradshaw would approve.

Love Tabitha’s warm and cozy style? You’re in luck. We’ve rounded up similar items — all under $60!

Too Cute! Moto Boots Are the Latest Hollywood Kids Trend

11/27/2013 at 11:00 AM ET

Moto boots may have a tough reputation, but they’ve recently taken an adorable turn in fashion thanks to celeb kids including Anja Mazur, Skyler Berman and Tabitha Broderick.

On Oct. 9, we spotted Alessandra Ambrósio‘s daughter strutting her stuff in Däv‘s Moto Boots ($65), but we chalked it up to her model mom’s influence (she has the adult version!).

Well, it looks like Sarah Jessica Parker‘s daughter also go the moto boot memo because she stepped out in the exact same black boots while on her way to school in New York City just days later on Oct. 23.

But we really knew it was a hot kiddie trend when Rachel Zoe‘s son hopped on board with a sleek pair of Frye Engineer Pull On Boots ($78) while out and about on Oct. 31.

Not only do we think their pint-size booties are beyond cute, but we also love their mini interpretations — seriously, Skyler’s captain ensemble is the tops!

On May 6, Sarah Jessica Parker took a stroll with her Mini Mes in their N.Y.C. neighborhood.

And we couldn’t help but smile at Tabitha and Loretta‘s aww-worthy ensembles.

Both girls, 3½, paired peasant style frocks with leggings (Loretta’s wearing Luna Leggings Spring Moon Footless Tights, $29) and light jackets.

But it was their fun accessories — pom pom headbands, funky beaded jewelry and comfy shoes — that really took their outfits to another level of cuteness.

SJP’s little fashionistas are wearing Chewbeads‘s new Juniorbeads necklaces ($19.50), which are made of 100 percent silicone, heat-resistant, chemical free and super easy to clean.

Loretta’s also rocking Yosi Samra‘s red polka dot ballet flats ($48).
