We tried it: Kissy Kissy‘s New Pajama Line
Who tried it: Amy Jamieson, PEOPLE.com writer
Why she did it: I’m determined to find the perfect kiddie pajamas.
Bedtime is often a fashion show in our house. Ballerina nightgowns, flannels with footies, you name the type of pajama and we’ve had it on our runway — also known as the stretch of carpet in front of my 4-year-old’s bed.
As my kids get older, bedtime wear is becoming more of a talking point. It can’t be too hot, too tight or too itchy, or my oldest daughter will simply give us the hand. So we typically stick to what works right now: the same four pairs of cotton pajamas. But that means they fall apart rather quickly when they’re wearing them night after night.
When I heard Kissy Kissy — makers of cute daytime wear for the mini-set, with a celebrity following — was launching their first-ever sleepwear collection, I decided that my 19-month-old and 4-year-old had to take the pajamas for a strut.
