Sara Rue‘s nesting paid off big for her baby bird!

Since welcoming daughter Talulah on Feb. 9, the new mom has been sharing adorable photos of her baby girl’s sleeping space on Twitter.

“The tree is from Pop Decors — I did it myself! Took forever, but was totally worth it,” she wrote of the colorful decal, which includes pink birds that Rue placed all around the room.

The actress completed the nursery with a classic white sleigh crib and bedding from New Arrivals Inc and Serena & Lily, matching dresser, cozy rocker and shabby cream rug. But it was her personal touches that really added a sweet feel.

Using colorful threads and white whimsical letters, Rue spelled out her daughter’s name above her crib on the pale pink walls.

What’s on Kim and Jessica’s Bel Bambini Baby Registries?

03/18/2013 at 05:00 PM ET

It was a busy week for celebrity sightings at Bel Bambini‘s West Hollywood location — not only did Kim Kardashian stop in on Wednesday with her new bangs, but an expectant Jessica Simpson visited the high-end baby boutique Friday. And both star moms-to-be shopped with a purpose — they created their baby registries!

Along with sisters Khloé and Kourtney, Kim checked out everything from a Stokke Sleepi crib to designer duds from Baby Dior, Fendi, Chloé and Roberto Cavalli. “[She] mainly [looked] at simple clothing, nothing too girly,” said an onlooker.

The first-time mama, 32, was also overheard saying she wants to decorate her nursery in chic black and white, which was reflected in a lot of the pieces she selected. She also snapped some photos with her cell phone … presumably to share with boyfriend Kanye.

A few days later, Simpson, also 32, (and her very visible baby bump!) stopped by to set up her baby boy‘s registry. Clearly a pro (she registered daughter Maxwell at the same location as well), the expectant designer zoned in on essentials, toys and boy fashions from Splendid, Jean Bourget and Little Marc Jacobs.

When Jenny McCarthy launched her nursery bedding collection in 2011, Too Good by Jenny, her main concern was safety and creating products people could trust.

“I wanted to make something that’s a little better than what’s on the shelf next to it,” she explained.

Well, consider it a mission accomplished. The mom (son Evan is now 10½) is still in the baby market, with plans to expand into feeding accessories soon.

And today, the actress is co-hosting a live Q&A via Twitter with zulily home buyer, Alex Kanter, to kick off the sale of her line (it starts today!) on the daily deals shopping site.

From 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. EST, you can ask them everything from what colors are most soothing for a baby’s room to what’s the best way to customize your child’s nursery. Just make sure to add #zulilyNurseryStyle to join the conversation.

Now that the countdown of her baby girl’s grand entrance has officially begun, Holly Madison is making sure her nursery is fit for a princess.

On Feb. 18, the mom-to-be shared a sneak peek of the Alice In Wonderland themed room, complete with colorful oversize flowers and a sky blue ceiling.

“Making progress finishing my nursery,” Madison wrote on her website, along with a photo of the half-done digs.

But the former Girls Next Door star isn’t leaving anything to chance. While dressed up in princess-themed gear (she loves all things Disney!), Madison put the finishing touches on the whimsical mural.

Inside Giuliana & Bill Rancic’s Nautical-Themed Nursery

12/11/2012 at 06:00 PM ET

Baby ahoy! When it came time to design the nursery for their firstborn son, Edward Duke, Giuliana and Bill Rancic looked to the sea for inspiration.

“They both really love water and ships, so we went with that theme from the beginning,” says Lonni Paul, designer and co-owner of Petit Nest. “I looked at the room and thought, ‘How can I make this a nautical theme without making it cutesy?’”

To achieve the soft but sophisticated look, they used blue grasscloth wallpaper and white linen Roman shades, as well as Paon bedding and a custom-designed, monogrammed gray crib fittingly named “The Duke” from Petit Nest.

“The initials on the crib make it an heirloom piece,” says Paul, who has also designed nurseries for Melissa Joan Hart and Robert Downey Jr. “Bill thought that when [Duke] is older they could mount the end of the crib on the wall.”
