Happy Halloween! Celeb Kids Show Off Their Spooktacular Costumes

10/31/2014 at 01:32 PM ET

Move over Pepé Le Pew!

Sixteen-month-old North West may not yet be old enough to fully understand the delicious candy that comes along with a good trick-or-treat outing, but she sure does make the sweetest little skunk for Halloween.

Mom Kim Kardashian shared some Instagram pics Friday of her toddler wearing her black and white skunk suit, complete with a curled tail and some spiky white fur.

“A skunk is on the loose!” wrote Kardashian, 34, in another shot that shows North romping across a matching black and white checker-boarded floor. “My little stinker is waiting to show daddy her costume. Halloween has come early this morning.”

Jenna Bush Hager: What My Mom Taught Me About Parenting

10/31/2014 at 10:00 AM ET

Jenna Bush Hager has always gravitated toward kids — she was a teacher before traveling Latin America with Unicef meeting mothers and their children — but the NBC correspondent says everything changed when she had a baby of her own.

“Having Mila has really changed everything for me. It’s put in perspective what really matters,” she told PEOPLE over the phone Thursday. “There are days that something doesn’t go your way and you feel frustrated, and then I realize I have this amazing, beautiful being that’s part of my life.”

The former first daughter, 32, and husband Henry Hager, 36, welcomed daughter Mila, now 18 months, last year. And she says her work with Unicef (which held its annual Masquerade Ball Thursday night) turned out to be prep work for parenthood.

“When I traveled to speak to these mothers and listened to their stories, it was hard to relate: I never knew the love of being a mom,” she says. “And they taught me that all moms want the same thing — their kids to live happy, healthy, productive lives.”

Written by Audrey Kinsman, the 20-page book tells the story of the Switch Witches, a group of whimsical witches who rely on piles of candy that they can convert into energy.

And from the fuel for their brooms (because the gas station just won’t do!) to keeping their haunted huts warm, the little ladies are in need of a whole lot of colorful confections.

Milla Jovovich‘s daughter got her wish: She’s getting a baby sister!

“We’re actually having a girl so she’s so excited,” the actress, 38, told PEOPLE Wednesday at amFAR’s Fifth Annual Inspiration Gala in Los Angeles.

The news that Jovovich’s second child with Paul W.S. Anderson will be another daughter came as a big relief to the mom-to-be, who admits she was unsure the couple’s firstborn, Ever Gabo, would take well to having a brother.

“I was actually worried if we had a boy, what would happen to him,” she says with a laugh. “I was like, ‘I wonder how long he will survive in our house with that little girl pushing him and sticking her foot out and tripping him!'”

Now mom to 3-month-old daughter Myllena Mae and 3½-year-old son Phyllon Joy, model Doutzen Kroes didn’t know how she was going to handle double duty at first.

“It’s crazy. In the beginning when [Myllena] was just born I was like, ‘How am I going to do this?'” Kroes told reporters Oct. 20 at the 2014 Elle Women in Hollywood Awards in Beverly Hills.

But now the mom-of-two has finally found her rhythm and is learning to perfect the balance of her two babies.

“It was really shocking, but now after three months I’m getting into it,” she admits. “I’m okay doing it by myself too when my husband [Dutch deejay and producer Sunnery James] is traveling — so I’ve been practicing and it’s amazing. It’s the best feeling in the world.”

How does Kroes juggle the demands of a newborn and toddler by herself?
