When you have a mom as fabulous as Ms. Britney Spears, it’s no secret that you’ll be dabbling in unique fashion trends at some point in your life.

And that’s just what the singer’s son Sean Preston, 10, did this week, dyeing his hair blue just in time for back-to-school.

“My son has blue hair!! Wheeee!” Spears, 34, wrote on Instagram next to a photo of her smiling older son sporting his newly tinted turquoise locks.

Spears has been busy promoting her new album Glory and killing it at last weekend’s VMAs, but if her Instagram posts are any indication, she has also been ensuring she makes time for her two boys (including her younger son Jayden James, 9).

“Missing Hawaii already!” she captioned an August video of her boys on a boat during their recent tropical vacation.

“Always believe in yourself and know anything is possible,” the “Make Me” singer wrote of her sons in a beautiful letter she penned this past Mother’s Day. “I pray dreaming awakens your soul to limitless possibilities. I hope the most precious mysteries of life stay with you always and you are never ashamed of how bright your light truly is.

“I hope you learn praying alone is when you are most connected to God, and know you are never alone. He is with you always,” she added. “I pray you laugh, love and soar through your journey of life.”

Cute! He’s a little young, but naturally blonde, so I’m guessing it’s a washout dye. My 15 year old has dark locks, so she was bleaching her hair to dye it blue, pink, etc. And the damage was so severe it started falling out. She’s back to her brunette locks for now but she learned a lesson.
