Angela Kinsey Shares How Her Daughter Isabel Makes Her ‘Heart Melt’
“She’s so sweet,” the former star of The Office, 45, tells PEOPLE. “She loves to draw me notes. She writes, ‘Mom, I love you. You’re the best mom ever.’ ”
As if that wasn’t enough warm fuzziness, there’s more.
“She has this expression she made up,” she explains. “I don’t know where it came from, but it absolutely makes my heart melt. She says, ‘Mom, I love you with the hope of my heart.’ I don’t even know what that means, but it’s so sweet.”

“I always get told that she looks a lot like her dad but has a lot of my quirks,” says Kinsey.
Meaning, Isabel takes after her mom’s personality in more ways than one.
“She has a very funny perspective on life,” she admits. “For a young kid … I don’t know if it’s because we’re both comedians and she’s around a lot for comedians, she understands sarcasm. I think funny people tend to be a little sarcastic.”
“We might see a neighbor, and they’ll say, ‘Your hair looks nice,’ ” says the actress, who will next star in the Netflix comedy series Haters Back Off as the mother of YouTube sensation Colleen Ballinger-Evans — A.K.A. Miranda Sings.
“And I’m like, ‘Oh, I didn’t really do much with it,’ ” Kinsey continues. “And Isabel will say, ‘Yeah, you did. It took you, like, five tries to get that ponytail!’ ”
