08/07/2016 at 05:45 PM ET

Former Miss Alabama Katherine Webb-McCarron‘s favorite accessory is her baby, Tripp.

The model, 27, welcomed her son with her NFL star husband AJ McCarron in May. And on Saturday, the new mom took to Instagram to share some adorable photos with her baby boy.

“My mom is not very camera savvy, but she did get this sweet shot of us walking through the park lol,” Webb-McCarron wrote in one Instagram photo. “Tripp loves being outside the most.”

In a photo taken and posted on the same day, the model mom wrote, “Yesterday’s #ootd…,” showing her midi periwinkle dress from REVOLVE paired with white sneakers. And baby Tripp wore a navy onesie and striped hat.

Webb-McCarron has not been shy sharing her post-baby body on her social media accounts. She showcased her after-baby bod in a mirror selfie with the caption, “Shopping for bikini season! Shameless selfie, but seeing progress just from breastfeeding. Pretty awesome how the body works! #1monthpostpartum.”

In the same post, she got candid about her body transformation while she was pregnant.

“I gained 44 lbs. during my pregnancy, so this post isn’t meant to be ‘humble,’ “she wrote. “Say what you want, but I feel great about myself even with the extra cellulite on my butt and stretch marks, so shoot me if I felt banging for once in this bikini.”

Just nine days after giving birth, Webb-McCarron shared that she had lost a whopping 20 lbs.

“Down 20, 24 more to go,” she posted on Instagram. “Although, loving these extra curves.”

Good for her! Her baby is so cute. Love that she’s not rushing to lose the baby weight.

Nothing says class like a mirror selfie in a Target change room while you are trying on bikinis without panties. I hope she bought that suit. GROSS.

Hilarious Stella! I was thinking the same thing! I use to work in the dressing rooms at target in Tuscaloosa. First off, no carts are allowed so she most be special! lol

I’ve worked in retail & we provided “paper panties/thongs” for women to try on swimsuits. We realized most, not all people did try on w/o their undergarment (ugh) & sometimes even removing the sanitary sticker inside (double ugh). Also if you look inside the cart that the baby carrier is in the cart so that’s probably why she was allowed to bring it in.

More power to her if she wants to be pre-pregnancy shape within a month of delivering but for me personally, I am happy that I let it take three/four months. As a woman is breastfeeding, it contacts your uterus down, and it is a horrible feeling but I let nature handle it for me and I did not rush it. This is what worked for me best and I felt my best. The one thing I like about this mom is that she posted a picture of her holding her baby, both clothed. This is what you share on the internet. Not the breastfeeding one. It is ridiculous that some women wanna throw those out there when it is not appropriate. There is NOTHING wrong with breastfeeding, but it is ODD to post your pics of such a private moment with baby.

No need to spell it out. I wouldn’t expect anything you’d say or do to be humble. LOL

Is she an actual model, like as her employment, or is she a “model” as in one who posts photos of themselves on Instagram for validation?

Eli on

She’s a “model”…I think she’s been in a Sears catalog or something.

She absolutely cares what people say, otherwise, she wouldn’t have posted the shameful selfie. What an embarrassment. I’ve had TWO babies and my body looks great, but I would never NEED to post a pic of my body on social media for validation. And let’s be clear, that’s what this is about. Feeding her ego.
