Liv Tyler sure knows how to spend a relaxing Sunday — even as a mom to a newborn!

The Lord of the Rings alum, 39, shared a black-and-white photo to Instagram Sunday that showed her lounging in bed while breastfeeding 2-week-old daughter Lula Rose.

“Sunday morning snuggles with my baby girl,” the actress wrote next to the sweet shot. “So grateful for this precious gift.”

Little Lula is the third child for Tyler, who has an 11-year-old son named Milo from a previous relationship and another son, 17-month-old Sailor Gene. Tyler’s fiancé David Gardner is dad to Sailor and Lula, as well as 9-year-old son Gray.

And the couple loves sharing photos of their adorable new daughter on social media. On July 21, both Tyler and Gardner, 38, posted a snap of Tyler cradling her close.

Beautiful baby and mom!

Call me old fashioned, but breastfeeding should be private bonding time. There’s no reason to share it with a bunch of strangers

I love her, she is a good mom.

Aw beautiful baby!

She’s feeding her baby. I’m sure you flop your big ass down at McDonalds and feed your kids in public AND post pics of it all over social media!😂 The difference.. Your kids “meal” came from a chicken and sweet Livs baby girls came from her mother. Viva la breastfeeding!! Congrats Liv on your new baby girl!!

I get what people are saying. Yes, BF’ing is natural and there is NOTHING wrong with it, but these ladies who post these sweet, bonding moments on social media are acting like they’re paving the way for a woman’s right to BF. They’re not. Despite what the media wants to show you, BF’ing acceptance in the United States is pretty high. For every one person who is (ridiculously) asked to leave a store for BF’ing, there are MILLIONS of other mother’s doing it without incident. Also, most BF’ing mothers know the laws. They know they can’t be kicked out of places for feeding their babies. At the same times, they also know they run the risk of running into some snot who might say something. Those are the risks you take. People of all sizes, shapes and colors risk being harassed for something every time they step outside. Is it fair? No. Does it happen anyway? All the time. If you want to BF in public, by all means do it… but you can’t act surprised when some idiot has an issue with it. Ignore them. Feed your kid. I guess if you want to post it on social media… whatever, but again, posting it on a public forum for all the world to see opens you up to getting bashed by people with nothing better to do. Either way, it gets the celeb some attention, which seems to be the only reason they’re actually doing this now. It’s certainly not to “normalize breastfeeding” since that’s already pretty normal.

so precious you can’t even cradle her while she’s feeding???? How lazy can you be to prop up a child. HOLD THEM!!! They need “touch”!!
