Josh Duhamel and Son Axl Spend the Day at Legoland: See the Photos!

It was quite the Sunday Funday for Josh Duhamel and his mini me!

The 11.22.63 star and 2½-year-old son Axl Jack spent the day at Legoland California Resort. One stop on their tour? The new NINJAGO World, which houses five interactive attractions — including NINJAGO The Ride, which allows visitors to defeat villains using just their hand motions to launch elements like fire, ice, and lightning.

At one point, Duhamel, 43, cheered Axl on as he played a game within the NINJAGO World section of the park.

The father-son team paired their fun with a bit of somber history, too. Duhamel took Axl to see the renovated Miniland New York City, which just reopened recently. Its latest addition is a replica of the new One World Trade Center, weighing more than 1,000 lbs., containing more than a quarter million LEGO bricks and standing 26 ft. tall — large for your average LEGO structure, to complement the real version’s 1,776 ft.

The replica also contains smaller versions of the memorial’s reflecting pools — one for each tower, whose real versions display the names of the thousands who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.

Axl is the only child for Duhamel and wife of seven years Fergie, 41. And the actor seems to take every chance he can get to spend some quality time with his son.

“It’s pretty amazing to watch a newborn baby turn into an almost-3-year-old,” he told PEOPLE in May. “It’s like, wow. You hear everybody talking about that but to see it — and everyone says it just keeps getting better and better, and it truly does. Every day he’s blossoming right in front of us. It’s really beautiful.”

In 2014, Duhamel also told PEOPLE that it’s integral for his son to understand and appreciate his status in life.

“I want my son to understand that he is very fortunate and it’s important to appreciate that and give back,” he said.

I basically profit close to $10k-$12k every month doing an online job. For those of you who are prepared to do easy at home jobs for 2h-5h each day at your house and earn valuable paycheck while doing it…
