It’s another girl for Nick and JoAnna Garcia Swisher!

The New York Yankees player, 35, and the former Astronaut Wives Club actress, 36, welcomed their second child, daughter Sailor Stevie Swisher, on Tuesday, June 28, their rep confirms to PEOPLE.

She weighed in at 7 lbs., 1 oz. and measured 18.5 inches long. Sailor joins big sister Emerson Jay, 3.

“So excited to introduce you to our tiniest princess, Sailor Stevie. She has stolen our hearts and our family feels complete,” the couple wrote on their respective Instagram accounts, sharing a photo of the proud parents holding their newborn baby girl.

“Watching Emme meet her baby sister for the first time was so incredible,” the couple tell PEOPLE exclusively. “We weren’t sure what to expect because she has been the center of our world, but she is so sweet and gentle with her. Our family finally feels complete. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for our precious little girls.”

The couple, who were married in 2010, announced Garcia Swisher’s second pregnancy on Instagram in February before confirming they were expecting another girl exclusively to PEOPLE.

“We are so excited that our family is growing and can’t wait to meet baby number two,” the couple told PEOPLE at the time, adding that Emme “keeps telling us she’s going to teach her little sister ‘everything she knows‘ … so we are counting on another expert on all things Princess Elsa, ponies and Play-Doh!”

“The best advice I have ever received is to trust your instincts and make sure to take care of yourself, too!” Garcia Swisher said in an interview for Eva Amurri Martino‘s lifestyle blog, Happily Eva After, in October.

“When I first had Emme, I was so focused on doing everything ‘right’ or ‘by the book’ that I forgot to listen to my gut and have confidence in that,” added Garcia Swisher, who has also played Ariel on Once Upon a Time.

Beautiful baby & family. Always been a fan of JoAnna’s but not a fan of the listing order of the name. Sailor Stevie sounds like a character. Stevie Sailor would have been better IMO.

DaisyMoon on

Was going to agree with moonie about the name, except that the last name Swisher makes both ways sound like a cartoon character.

Love Sailor. Hate Stevie….but then again…not my kid

Why is “Sailor” so popular among the celeb crowd? I don’t get the appeal.

So what!!Whatever!!

Awww, congrats! Love him. I’m guessing Stevie was chosen to honor Nick’s dad, Steve. Really don’t like the triple S though.

Gorgeously healthy looking little chubby baby!

Congratulations on their new addition!

Congrats to them!! When you put two unusual names together it does tend to sound a little out there and cartoonish. When you add a last name that is also a little strange you really get a recipe for a bordering on weird name. I think had they done Sailor Ann or Sailor Elizabeth, paired the first name with a more traditional middle name, it would have flowed better and made all the difference. Not something I would choose but hey they must have reasoning behind the name they chose.

You are not famous enough to give your child a dumb-ass name. Get a grip!
Poor kid (s).
