Tess Holliday is a mom again!

Son Bowie Juniper Holliday weighed 8 lbs., 10 oz., and measured 22 inches long.

Holliday, 30, who is already mom to 10-year-old son Rylee from a previous relationship, confirmed her second pregnancy to PEOPLE exclusively in January.

But even though she has been pregnant before, it’s almost like it’s the first time for the body-positive model, who recently participated in a stunning nude pregnancy photoshoot for the Telegraph and currently has a clothing line with Canadian retailer Penningtons.

“It’s been 10 years since I had a kid, so there are so many things that are new,” she told PEOPLE. “My friends that have babies are posting all of these new swings and breastfeeding techniques and new bottles, and it’s really overwhelming because I thought, ‘I’ve already done all this,’ but it feels like I haven’t. I’m having to relearn a lot!”

Holliday and Nick celebrated their growing family in May with a sweet Hawaiian-themed baby shower. At the bash — which, according to Holliday, was completely orchestrated by Nick — guests noshed on treats like vegan cookies and doughnuts.

More recently, Holliday shared a nude bathroom selfie of her pregnancy belly, writing, “When people say to me, ‘I can’t tell you’re pregnant.’ I will continue to live unapologetically, to thrive in this body, prove the naysayers wrong & laugh at the ignorance.”

“I’m really excited to be doing it again and have support, and be able to enjoy having a baby, because I couldn’t last time [with Rylee],” the former PEOPLE cover star said following her pregnancy announcement.

“I think it really solidifies the two halves of our family coming together,” Nick added. “It will be nice to have the family more blended.”

The baby is beautiful, but I’m sorry, if you want to honor David Bowie, please name him David! Unless it’s Jim Bowie, then James is a great name!

Jen on

Bowie JUNIPER??? Oh seriously lady….why would you to that to a kid?!

Heather on

Gorgeous. Love that you are just so…you. Screw anyone who disagrees, they’re not important, and the haters are most CERTAINLY jealous.

mahinahathaway on

@Jen, I have a weird name and I love it. No one has my name, my name is unique to me and I am glad that my parents gave me more than just a stock standard name. Nothing wrong with stock standard names, nothing wrong with weird and wonderful names! Tell you where the problem lies, with people who think that it’s ok to put down a new mothers choice of name for her wonderful new bundle of love.

Angela on

Why were the pic just released? Not because she just had him…BECAUSE SHE SOLD HER BABIES FIRST PICTURES!

Lyn on

Awful name for baby, her tattoos are absolutely disgusting. On a nice note, she has gorgeous hair.

Kristin on

Congratulations! To everyone posting negative comments… You are just showing the world that you are a disgusting human who can’t find something nice to say about a new life.

Cute baby! Too bad his mother is a narcissist who has stolen THOUSANDS of dollars from her fans.

Kaywinnet on

I love that someone is actually hear claiming David Bowie would want her to use David, when David Bowie named his own son ZOWIE

Anonymous on

She WOULD name her kid after a rapist ..

Jenn on

So, you’re going to use a birth announcement to bash someone. You are some kind of low class human. Right? I mean, I can’t figure out how low and lonely you must be to come and be an ass on a post about a baby. Good job! Your parents must be so proud!

And, to use this same post to bring up crap that’s been settled ages ago? You need to get a hobby because apparently you’ve been sitting on that thing for a bit. It was settled. Grow up.

Melanie on

I’m a 5’11” size 20. This girl is NOT a size 22. Please. Also, no nekked pics should be allowed. Come on!

Cortney Taylor on

congratulations tess… so happy for you… just to let ya know i think i sometimes hate other people… the world is too full of opinions now… and i think most werent taught by their grandparents that they should be seen and not heard… or treat others as you wish to be treated… happy for ya again… ❤ hes a beautiful child… congrats…

Jealous much people…..

She is absolutely stunning and very successful. Congrats Mama xx

Beautiful baby. Beautiful mom. Funny though. Just because she named him Bowie right away it’s because of David. Did she name him juniper because of the berry? When Gwen Steffani named her her kid Appolo Bowie it was ok. The naked pregnant selfie shot is beautifully done. When that skank Kardashian did it, it was ok. Stars sell their baby pics for MILLIONS. For which I’m sure she didn’t even come close. And again, that’s ok too. But nit pick any negative thing. And down play this little baby being born. Way to go people. As a fellow commenter said. Nice to see with all the evil going on in Orlando. Way to together as humanity and welcome a new life with no negativity as soo many lives left us. Feel good!

meghan on

Right. We’re all dying of jealousy over so many rolls of fat. Only 12 year olds and mental midgets use the word hater.

KL on

Yay the baby has my birthday too ! 😀

Poppy on

Describing her as a size 22 model was unnecessary. Be sure you list every single celebrities size when they have their children.

Liz on

Now, if she loves her children, she will start working on losing the weight so she can be around for them, instead of keeling over from a heart attack in the next couple of years.

Diabetty on

@Poppy Totally agree! Why mention she’s a size 22 when she’s clearly much larger than that? False advertising is always a no-no.

Anonymous on

I am incredibly saddened that the first description of Tess is her size. Thai has absolutely no relevance to the event, the birth of her beautiful child. This perpetuates the fact that women are no more than their physical size. I am extremely disappointed as well that two women wrote this. An act of girl on girl crime 😦

Alex V on

@jenjuneau and @katestroup – Why is it necessary to refer to her as a “size 22 model”? I never read about Gisel’s size, or Heidi Klum, or Kate Upton.
What size do you need to be to let it define you? If you feel that this is necessary information, you as journalists should be listing your size in your byline.

Carolyn on

Good god, what a pile of tattooed flab. Sorry, she’s a mess.

Ona on

She definitely looks more than size 22.

Jamey on

Love a curvy girl, but I’m sorry, her pictures are gross, pregnancy or not. She is enormous. Look at her arms. Model? What a joke.

Vicki on

We can say People should not refer to Tess’ size, but I do see a benefit to this. 1. Tess pushed boundaries of plus size models, who can be considered “too big” at size 14. Why do you think she looks bigger than someone who is a size 22? Probably because you’re used to seeing celebrities who are a size 1 or 2 in the media and on TV, or even in plus size catalogs. 2. Plus size women are often told they can’t have babies over size 14, clearly not always the case and Tess proves it at size 22. We shouldn’t define her by the number in her size but there are benefits for our community by mentioning it. ❤ Radical Fatty

Ashley on

Why was it necessary to start the article with “The size 22 model…”? Her size does not define her. You could have chosen to say, “The model..” Do you start other articles with “The size 4 model…”? I don’t think so. Shame on you.

B on

So I assume when the other models who are pregnant right now give birth, you will include their size in the very first line as well, right?

Jenn on

They’re already married. They’ve BEEN married so he could move here. Check your facts, People!

Mel on

Her upper arm is bigger than they baby! Hopefully she doesn’t co-sleep with him, he’ll be crushed!

thorsa on

stunning photoshoot? um, no. kid is named for the knife, I trust. That poor midwife, had to wear a blindfold. that poor baby, trying to fight its way out of those layers and layers and layers….she will continue to live unapologetically? Even if she weighed 650 pounds? It’s all irrelevant?

Anonymous on

One of her arms is a size 22. She lies.

Beanie on

Her arm is size 22. She lies.

Candi on

Just because the shower snacks were vegan didn’t mean you had to eat all of them.

Leigh on

This is the same woman who tweeted after Kim Ks name announcement “GTFO naming your baby Saint, I loathe Kanye.” Then she now names her kid something 100 times worse and gets upset when people share their feelings about it.

Vicky on

While I don’t necessarily agree with her lifestyle, as someone who has dealt with weight issues my entire life, these comments are nasty. You ladies need to reassess yourselves and your values. If this is how you act, your kids will follow suit, and will be another generation of scumbags. Quite sickening, actually.

Ashley on

With all of the hated and sadness currently in the world, you people couldn’t find it within your heart to wish a loving family congratulations on their new baby?! It doesn’t matter what you look like, who you love, what you do for a living, etc. – Kindness and love are all that matters.

Congratulations Tess and Nick on your beautiful new son. You are a beautiful family.

Kiberly on

Poor child. It’ll have to look at that ugly beast until it dies. But that kid’ll be a fighter. Who else has to climb out from underneath 450lbs of fat just to take a breath?

SORRY FOLKS, SIZE 22 IS ***NOT*** AND NEVER WILL BE CONSIDERED A “MODEL.” and in all fairness…a role model would be someone who sets a good example for their children all the while, teaching them about portion control when it comes to food. Miss piggy needs to learn some control when it comes to porking out…

stop with that cookie! lol on

here’s some truth for ya….if you REALLY loved yourself and want to project body positivity….TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF! being a tub of lard in quite the opposite. you are creating a double standard with your “Plus-size” garbage. YOU are OBESSE! and yes there is a HUGE difference!

Anonymous on

When naming a little person, always consider their initials.. Bj holiday, oh my.

Vanessa on

“The size 22 model…” How is that important? Do you mention the size of other celebrity women who pop out a baby. I’ve never read “The size 0 model…”.

Who cares what size the woman wears, as long as she is healthy and the baby is healthy, that is all that matters.

Julia on

Of course she would sell her photos of her birth.. How sickening those two are. Narcissistic Bitch.

And size 22? Please. She’s double my size, and claims to weigh less than me!

Elly on

The voice of ratainolity! Good to hear from you.
