Sneak a Peek at Ayesha Curry’s New ‘Fashion Forward’ Baby Shoe Collaboration with Freshly Picked

It looks like Ayesha Curry‘s daughters are inspiring her designer brain more than just where their bedroom is concerned!

Ayesha — wife of basketball star Stephen Curry and mom to 3½-year-old Riley and Ryan, 11 months — has teamed up with Freshly Picked to create an exclusive baby shoe line that is “a mix of all things sweet.”

“I am so thrilled to be collaborating with Freshly Picked on this collection,” Ayesha, 27, says. “It’s cute, adorable [and] delicious yet still fashion forward. Yummy little moccasins to cover those yummy little toes.”

“Working with Ayesha has been a dream, and this collection has been an aspiration of mine since we met,” says Freshly Picked’s founder and CEO Susan Petersen. “We are so excited to not only launch this collection, but also look forward to other projects we’re working on together.”

The new collection features soft-soled baby moccasins in “Pink Lemonade,” “Mint Chip,” and “Fan Favorite” — the latter of whose royal blue and golden yellow hues are a nod to the colors of Steph’s NBA team, the Golden State Warriors.

Admittedly, Ayesha had little interest and experience in fashion design before having kids. But that all changed when her daughters arrived.

“I suddenly became the pickiest person on the planet and felt that I could never find the right pieces for my little girls!” explains Ayesha, whose firstborn was such a fan of the brand that she starred in a modeling campaign for them in 2015.

For this collaboration, Ayesha worked closely with the Freshly Picked team, including Petersen, submitting photos and ideas of anything that inspired her design wise — like cooking.

The new, limited-edition collection is available just in time for summer. Each pair costs $60 and can be purchased online at www.freshlypicked.com.

Too expensive for babies who will outgrow them in a matter of weeks.

Those shoes are so cute.

She’s a lovely woman, and I hope she’s super successful in her endeavors, but these are nothing new and far too expensive. Spending $60 on an infant/toddler shoe is borderline ridiculous. And why are they all moccasins? I can’t do the fringe, but I love little shoes similar to those (that aren’t $60).

Her daughter is a cutie pie!

Love the different color of shoes, they look adorable.

I love FP shoes but at $60 plus shipping I just could not justify the purchase. $60 buys me 2 boxes of diapers at Costco OR two containers of formula! I wish I could splurge for my daughter especially since she is a “walker” now but instead I found some almost identical shoes at Payless. $12 used a $10 off coupon and blissfully walked out the door with mocs for my daughter!

We have owned 72 pairs of FP mocs for my 17 month old Daughter. These are the best baby shoes made! Mocs that cost $60 may seem expensive at first but they are so wor+
t+h it. Not to mention resell is pretty awesome too! I’m so excited to see whats coming next..I’m never disappointed. Every time we go somewhere someone stops me to ask where my daughters shoes are from. We have tried cheaper brands but they don’t compare. I only want the best for my baby and I know that these shoes are comfortable, easy to put on and take off and most importantly good for my little one’s feet. Thank you Susan for making such an awesome product 🙂

$60 for a pair of shoes is too expensive because babies grow quickly and they can’t wear them for a long time.

Typical money hungry gold digger. She agreed to marry her man cause he’s a self-made millionaire. As soon as he decides to stop giving her cash when she wants it that’s when she’ll get lawyered up and have divorce papers drawn up then take his ass to court. Then sue for spousal and child support. Worst thing a self-made millionaire or billionaire (man or woman) do is get married.
