Fiery Mom Snooki Admits ‘Judgy’ Moms Make Her Feel Like ‘Crap’: ‘I Like to Empower All Moms to Lift Each Other Up’

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi isn’t known for holding back her opinions — and her experiences with motherhood are no exception.

In the latest clip from PEOPLE’s Mom Talk series, the former Jersey Shore star gets real about the relationship patterns she notices among modern-day moms, and how she wishes they were vastly different — namely, that the judgmental attitudes and rudeness would stop.

“Some moms are so judgy, and they make you feel like crap,” Polizzi, 28, says. “I like to empower all moms to lift each other up.”

“I have a friend who calls them ‘sanctimommies,’ ” chimes in Orange Is the New Black‘s Alysia Reiner, 45, who has a 7-year-old daughter named Livia Charles. “Because they’re sanctimonious about their [parenting techniques].”

Polizzi — who is mom to Lorenzo Dominic, 3½,  and 19-month-old Giovanna Marie — adds that it’s important for fellow moms to understand that they all have the same end goal, even if their paths vary widely.

“We’re not all the same — we do different things, we parent different,” she notes. “At the end of the day, we’re all moms, and we take care of our kids.”

She also makes it known that she appreciates when her fellow moms are honest and down to earth, like Reiner and the other moms in the Mom Talk group, Ginger Zee and Selenis Leyvia.

“I’m so happy you guys are normal moms,” Polizzi says.

My advice to all mothers is look at your mothers and all mothers you know and do what you liked that they did and change the rest. No mother is perfect but we all love our children and do what we think is best. I may not agree with you or do something different but hey they are your kids and go for it and do your best. Happy Mother’s Day!!!!

Go have a drink Snooki and do a fist pump.

Just saying.. on

Well I guess it’s hard to not be so judgemental towards Snooki as the only way we can remember her is past out drunk, making a fool out of herself and desperately seeking a Guido.

Stop posting everything you do on the internet and no one will judge.

Im sick of this dont judge me crap. There are people who are just gonna be harsh. But there are others who are gonna disagree with something you say or do and think its crazy. We all do it. But they are not giving an overall judgement of whether youre a good or bad mom. They are entitled to their feelings. If you dont like the comments then keep certain things that you know will raise an eyebrow quiet. People just wanna feel victimized these days. Everything is a story.

Judging moms is NOT a modern day thing. People did 30 years ago when I was a new mom& to my mother& to my grandmother& great grandmother & my great great grandmother. The only thing different is the ease of delivery&method of delivery.
