Allison Holker Shows Off Body After Baby Less Than a Month After Giving Birth

It looks like all that dancing has paid off for Allison Holker.

The Dancing with the Stars pro, who gave birth to son Maddox Laurel less than a month ago, posted an Instagram selfie on Sunday that depicts a bikini-clad Holker hanging out by the pool while her 7-year-old daughter Weslie Renae takes a dip in the background.

“SUNDAY FUN DAY,” Holker captioned the snap, whose true star is her incredible abs.

But Holker’s body after baby is definitely no surprise. Holker — who met her Magic Mike XXL star husband Stephen “tWitch” Boss while the pair both competed on So You Think You Can Dance — told Fit Pregnancy and Baby this past March that the couple follow a diet that’s mostly devoid of gluten, soy, dairy and oil.

The former High School Musical star, who announced her pregnancy on an episode of DWTS last October, also has no qualms about admitting that she prioritizes putting in the physical work to stay in shape. Aside from her diet, Holker ensured weight lifting and long walks were a part of her pregnancy-health routine.

“I absolutely feel pressure to lose the baby weight quickly, but I don’t see that as a negative thing,” she added in the Fit Pregnancy and Baby interview. “It’s great motivation so I can be physically fit, not just for myself but for my children as well.”

Holker, 28, also said while her physical fitness is important to her, it’s definitely not a contest with anyone other than herself.

“Nowadays, it always seems like a competition between women for who can lose the baby weight the fastest, but I am trying to stay chill and not compare myself to other people,” she said.

These articles r so damn annoying. “Just one month after giving birth”. Following 4 babies I always had flat abs very fast too, but good God, it’s not a race, and why is that so important? All it does is make people feel bad that don’t lose weight quickly. It’s just detracts from what truly matters……the miracle of a new baby, and a process that need not be rushed! Ive never once commented on anything, but I’m sick of these kinds of headlines.

This is completely absurd. Hormones make your skin cray cray and your chest all sorts of weird. I believe this woman is telling us a lie. You had a baby…bravo. Keep your clothes on and take care of your little one. I love most of the dancers from SYTYCD but she is the exception. No respect whatsoever.

While the articles are ridiculous, saying she should “keep her clothes on” and take care of her kid is even more so. She’s at her own pool, it looks like, with her daughter. Who cares what she wears?

Well said Jennifer!!!

She is kinda weird all she thinks is about her body weight after less than a month giving birth, you need to think more about your baby.

It appears she isn’t breastfeeding 🙂

Jennifer, you said it so well!
Congrats to Allison on both her new baby and old body, but enough stories on women who get back into their pre-baby shape in record time.
Too much emphasis on superficial fluff.

Anon, how can you tell that by looking at someone?!

Congratulations. You win at life.

She does look very fit in the bikini shot, considering she just gave birth less than a month.

I would be suprised if she breastfed. Losing the weif hr so quickly and being so focused on a strict diet probably prevented her body from producing milk to feed her baby. Sad that it’s not the being healthy aspect it’s the obsession with getting back to her pre pregnancy size

What she does with her tits is nobody’s concern.

To the person who commented about her not breastfeeding…what did you expect to see? Size DD’s? Maybe she took this picture after pumping her breasts. I’m a natural A cup and have been exclusively breastfeeding my daughter for five months. When they are not full they look small just like Allison’s.

and the judgmental mom squad shows up as expected!
If you don’t gain a ridiculous amount of weight and you keep active during your pregnancy it takes almost no work to lose the weight. I’ve had 4 kids and was always back to prepregnancy weight by my 6 week check up and back in all my normal clothes by a month postpartum. And I breastfed every one of them. No milk supply problems despite never being more than a B cup other than when my milk first came in. Quit the body shaming. She looks great and she is healthy. Taking care of yourself is something more people should do, especially for our kids.

She doesn’t have to worry about her weight, she looks so healthy and fit, kudos to her.

Allison is one of my favorite pro dancers on DWTS. She is the epitome of health and fitness. One look at her amazing legs shows how much she puts into her workout and health. Her flat abs so soon after giving birth to a beautiful boy are no surprise. She puts in the work, she gets results. She is an athlete. I don’t compare myself to her any more than I compare myself to Serena Williams.

What happened to this being about celebrity moms? It’s now full of articles about attention-seeking, superficial, no name, non-celebrities.
