Olivia Wilde is pregnant!

The Vinyl star and her fiancé, actor Jason Sudeikis, are expecting their second child, she announced Monday via Instagram.

“Matching baby bumps,” Wilde captioned a photo of herself with son Otis Alexander, who turns 2 this week.

Their rep confirms the happy news to PEOPLE.

Earlier this month, Wilde told PEOPLE that she and the Mother’s Day star, 40, are ready to give little Otis a sibling.

“I’m desperate for more [kids]!” Wilde, 32, said at a Marimekko for Target event in New York. “I love my siblings so much and Jason has incredible siblings too. The more the merrier.”

Matching baby bumps. ✌️

She added that little Otis is in favor of becoming a big brother — sort of.

“[He] loves little babies,” Wilde said. “He has a Michael Jordan doll that he carries around sometimes. [He uses the doll] as either a hammer or a baby”

Knew it !!! Good for them ! Babies are blessings…

Sue's on

Congrats on both of them…

Cindy on

Really why keep having children without a wedding, get married then babies

hahaha on

Brooke, you’re waiting for the Xander comments and I’m waiting for the comments about them not being married and having children! lol. Congrats on baby #2.

GirlMomof2 on

Hmmm. “baby bump”. Thought she didn’t consider it a baby. Interesting.

mer on

I like them. Congrats.

Natalie on

Her son is so cute. My gosh. Happy little face. Little legs. People seem to very predictably space siblings exactly 2 years apart. It’s interesting. I assume the hope is higher odds of the kids being emotionally close? I always wonder if they are ready for the next kid or just pressuring themselves to get it over with. I say that because I’m not ready for another and people can really pressure you like you’re running out of time.

Stop being stupid on

GirlMom, are you brain damaged? Or just not big on critical thinking?

Dysturbed on

Cindy, The reality is that whether people have marriage then a family or go about things the opposite way or without ever getting married there are potentially successful or unsuccessful outcomes. These two very well could have a permanent and forever stable relationship without ever getting married. To each their own.

Meghan on

If he acknowledged his firstborn, people would probably stop throwing it in his face.

Kathy on

Maybe I’m old fashioned, but is there something wrong with them getting married?

Stacey McRae on

Cindy, there is a complete breakdown in our society and YES marriage and two parents DO matter. Unfortunately people fail to see the damage they are doing to their children. Look around at the way the younger generation acts – they are completely devoid of of conscience, manners, integrity, etc. It all stems from a breakdown in the family.

Shay on

She left her husband in February of 2011, because she was married young and didn’t get to explore she said. She started dating Jason in November of 2011. She’s engaged and baby #2 on the way. She’s a contradiction. Did she get her fill of exploring in the 8 months she was single? Or was she already interested in Jason? The things that make you go hmmmmm….for a sec. lol

Barb on

I think it is Xander’s mom who is the one demanding privacy.

Jenna on

lol… who cares if they are or aren’t married?! they can still be loving, awesome parents get over it!

Steacy Curry on

Hi Cindy–

I’m 2016.

Have we met?

Cate on

So stupid!! I have been with my partner for 9 years and our daughter is smart, happy, outgoing, and so sweet. I see kids who have married parents and supposedly a “better life” and are a mess. being married has nothing to do with your children’s happiness!! grow up.

Congratulations! Otis is adorable!! Why does it matter to anyone if they are married or not? If children are raised with love and stability, that is all that matters. And all these ridiculous comments about Xander. No one knows who that baby’s father is, and apparently the mother is just fine with how things are working out, so why in the world is it anyone’s business? Least of all ours!

charlotte on

Very cute little boy!! Congrats on the news of the new little one.

I thought Bobby Flay was Zanders dad.

@natalie, depending on your age, one might be running out of time. I don’t understand 20 somethings churning them out so fast. I’m 35 and if I get pregnant today, I’d be 36 before I have my first, so yes, I’ll have to space them close together when the time comes.

erica2 on

My God there is something in the Hollywood water…everyday there is another pregnancy announcement Best wishes to all those expecting a bundle of joy 🙂

Rather have two unmarried, happy parents than two divorced and miserable ones!

Family court is a billion dollar industry. Happy couples parenting together regardless of maritial status is priceless.

Erin on

I adore that couple and congrats to them! To those asking why they’re not married – what’s it to you?

J on

January has already stated that Xander’s father is in his life. Jason has already stated Otis is his FIRST child.

Meena on

Whatever about not being married. My only question is, why continue to be “engaged” when they don’t appear to want to be married? I just don’t get that.

Adrien on

Funny story…I incorrectly remembered their son as being “Milo”

Ellie on

Gosh he’s a cutie. Congrats.

sager on

They seem a lovely couple. So happy for them.

ImALadyToo on

I agree with you, but so many people today think it is so cool to “not need that silly piece of paper” to have children. Gullible women; the men must be talking them into that!

J on

Considering that Bobby Flay came to January’s rescue when she had that accident… And, in divorce documents Stephanie March stated Bobby was @)*2ing January… The time fits and Bobby Flay is presumably the father – NOT JASON.

Guest on

Umm ImALadyToo, I think it has absolutely nothing to do with “being cool.” More, people in this generation recognize (through the brilliant example our parents have set) that being married makes no difference in the respective parents happiness. In fact, it seems married couples more often than their unmarried counterparts, have anger and resentment towards their partner. This old mindset of “must be married before having babies” is antiquated at best. Nothing matters except that they are providing a warm and loving environment for their children. It is just as easy to split up when married as when unmarried.

Glo on

I loved the comment, “…he uses the doll as either a hammer or a baby!” Typical 2 year old. They seem down to earth.

jg1965 on

I wonder if this will be written into the Vinyl storyline.

Anne on

Get married ad get a bra.

stinky on

so many women these days taking pics in their undies, for the world to see!

ShelliG on

Good. Maybe she’ll leave Vinyl! She adds nothing to the show & her character (and acting) are awful! I love the show, except for her!

EDIE Koller on

Oh congrats to them !! Otis is absolutely adorable too.

Cj on

@Stinky: She’s not in her underwear. She’s in a bikini. They’re in Hawaii. Don’t be so Puritan.
