It’s a girl!

Survivor: Cagayan contestant J’Tia Taylor Hart and her husband, Graeme Ross Hart, have welcomed their first child.

Daughter Aashna Brynn Hart made her debut on Wednesday, Feb. 10 in Washington, D.C. — and she was right on time. “She was born on her due date,” Hart tells PEOPLE exclusively. Weighing in at 7 lbs., Aashna measured 21 inches long.

Since competing on Survivor, a lot has happened for Hart. She was married in an animal-themed wedding at the Brevard Zoo in Florida last March. Hart, 34, is a nuclear engineer who competed as part of the “Brains” tribe in the long-running show’s 28th season.

Hart is overjoyed at becoming a mom and that sentiment is reflected in Aashna’s name.

“Her first name means ‘beloved’ in Hindi, and she is certainly greatly loved by both of her parents,” Hart tells PEOPLE. “She’s the center of our universe!”

Aashna is a beautiful name. Just because it isn’t a name from your culture or native language does not make it a horrible name.

J’Tia was flat-out whack-a-doodles on Survivor. Let’s hope that she is less volatile and far more rational in everyday life!

She is such a cutie pie!
