Ali Fedotowsky Debuts Baby Belly: ‘That Was a Big Lunch’

01/30/2016 at 10:15 PM ET

Bump, there it is!

Pregnant Ali Fedotowsky has temporarily ditched the mom jeans for a fitted top and matching leggings to show off her growing baby belly — or at least her last memorable meal.

“That was a big lunch,” she joked Saturday on Instagram, sharing a photo of herself with the hashtags “#imstuffed,” “#pregnantbelly,” “#hibaby” and “2ndtrimester.”

Posting the same picture to Twitter, Fedotowsky, 31, tweeted, “Oh hi pregnant belly.”

The former Bachelorette announced earlier this month that she and her fiancé, Valentine in the Morning co-host Kevin Manno, are expecting their first child.

Along with the big reveal, Fedotowsky promised to blog about her pregnancy — and, true to her word, she doesn’t hold back in her first update.

“The first trimester was not fun and was really hard for me. It was rough because I was sick all the time!” she writes. “I remember breaking down in tears once because all I wanted was to want a pizza. It’s like I knew I liked pizza, I knew how delicious it tasted, but the thought of it made me sick to my stomach.”

Despite the severe morning sickness, the parents-to-be quickly found a bright spot: getting to see their baby for the first time at 6½ weeks.

“We were so nervous because I read that sometimes doctors don’t see the baby and just an empty sac. I remember holding my breath, terrified that we wouldn’t see a baby. Then we see this little peanut appear on the screen with a fluttering heartbeat. It was incredible! Of course I cried,” Fedotowsky shares.

Three weeks later, they had a second ultrasound and were surprised to see their little one had “sprouted arms and legs” and was wiggling around.

“It was absolutely mind blowing how much the baby had grown in just a few weeks. And we are continually amazed by how much the baby grows at each ultrasound,” she adds.

“We also feel such a sense of relief when we see the baby at those appointments, and as soon as we leave the doctors office, the panic sets back in. All we want to do is see the baby again! Is this what being a parent is like? Constantly worrying about your child? Or at least that’s what it feels like it’s going to be like for me.”

I genuinely feel bad about this. #PregnantLady @AliFedotowsky

The mom-to-be ends the entry admitting pregnancy has been “a lot harder” than she thought, but believes it will all be worth it.

“There have been many tears. Tears of joy and tears from pain. But when something extraordinary happens in your life, it seems fitting that the road to get there wouldn’t be an easy one,” she writes.

“OMGGG she’s pregnant and not married how evil your child is doomed” – typical People poster

Are we going to have to hear about her pregnancy on a daily basis now! No one cares about these women’s pregnancies.🙄

This chick is annoying. Her stint on the Bachelor was all about getting a gig in TV…and she’s about as bad as that Debbie Matenopoulis chick.

Francine on

Better her than Vienna.

She was so jealous of Vienna on bachelor, reminds me of olivia.

There are thousands of places to go on a baby moon!! What a problem to have 🙄. Ugh!

Volla on

The purpose she went on Bachelor was trying to get a TV job, so smart.
