John Krasinski and Emily Blunt Expecting Second Child

It’s time to switch the office into another nursery!

John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are expecting their second child, their rep confirms to PEOPLE.

The actors, who tied the knot in July 2010, are already parents to 23-month-old daughter Hazel.

In August, the 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi star admitted the proud parents were excited about expanding their family — and joked about stirring up a little sibling rivalry.

“Hopefully one day we will!” Krasinski, 36, told Entertainment Tonight. “One day, I don’t know when. We’ve got to give her some competition at some point.”

And while Krasinski was looking forward to becoming a family of four, he recently told PEOPLE he experienced an “existential crisis” following the birth of daughter Hazel.

“I went through some really serious stuff,” he explained. “There is a mirror that is held up to me now. You have someone watching you. You have to lead by example.”

For her part, Blunt, 32, has also experienced an entirely new range of emotions since becoming a mother.

“You don’t know what to expect because it’s just completely, existentially out of anything that you’ve ever experienced before, and it’s quite indescribable,” the actress previously told PEOPLE of motherhood.

But don’t expect to catch the mom-to-be brushing up on her parenting skills. As a new mom, Blunt admitted she wouldn’t fall for the industry’s “fear-based” tactics.

“There used to be one book that everyone read, now there’s How to Raise a Gluten-free Baby, How to Raise a Scientific Baby … it’s insanity! So I haven’t read anything, I’m just letting her do her own thing,” she told The Edit.

Blunt’s second pregnancy coincides with the shooting for her new movie The Girl on the Train, not unlike the timeline of her first pregnancy when she filmed Into the Woods — a role that made it easy to hide her growing baby bump.

“In a way, the part was the only one in Hollywood I could still have done, because it didn’t matter if I was a bit big — The Baker’s Wife eats a lot of buns!” she joked. “But by the end of the shoot, I was about seven months and hiding behind every tree in the woods.”

If it happened around the time he was getting buff for that movie, I don’t blame her one bit.

Congratulations! Love these two!

I love Emily Blunt, but honestly felt she was miscast for Girl on the Train because the character is supposed to be a little overweight. But now this will actually make sense if she does start showing during filming! I’m happy for them, they are such a cute couple!

Congratultion! John and Emily seem so normal, given their profession and all the crazies than inhabit Hollywood. John’s dad was a close friend mine’s primary care physician. He is a really nice man…kind, caring, down to earth. John had great parenting role models so I have no doubt he is a wonderful dad.

Never liked her. Her comments on sexism were horrible. She said how women need to shut up about it.

Not a big fan of hers since she says some stupid things, but this I nice news. They are a cute couple, too.

Just because you disagree with what she said, doesn’t make it stupid, or a reason to dislike her. Congrats to the couple, who seems so happy. Hoping for a happy, healthy pregnancy and a happy, healthy baby!
