He’s here!

Daphne Oz is a new mama after welcoming a son, her second child with husband John Jovanovic, on Wednesday, Oct. 21, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

The family’s new addition — who weighed in at 8 lbs, 6 oz., and measured 21 inches long — joins 20-month-old big sister Philomena Bijou.

“Daphne and I feel extremely blessed with our new addition to the family and Philomena is excited to bring her little brother home,” Jovanovic says in a statement.

On Wednesday, Oz revealed her baby boy’s name in an exclusive clip on The Chew. “We have named our son Jovan Jovanovic Jr. — my husband is Serbian and we named him after his daddy,” she explained. “We’re calling him John-John.”

She adds, “I’m officially a week in to being a mother of two which is still totally crazy to me to say. It’s been a wild week — it’s been so much fun and totally exhausting. Everyone’s so in love — Philo especially, she thinks he’s all hers. She’s just constantly trying to kiss him, but she’s 20 months old so her kisses are verging on assault at this point so we gotta be careful. She loves him so much, which I’m really happy about — I was really nervous about the adjustment with the two of them. It’s been a lot of me lying around being a human pacifier.”

On Thursday, Oz’s father, Dr. Mehmet Oz, took to Instagram to share the exciting news.

“Earlier today, @daphneoz blessed us with a beautiful grandson! @lisaoz and I couldn’t be happier,” he wrote alongside a photo of the new big sister.

“Philo wants to know what all the commotion is about — I think she’s realizing that her lifelong best friend was just born. We thank you all for your well-wishes and prayers.”

Oz’s co-hosts first announced the birth Thursday on Twitter.

“Congratulations, Daphne! We are all so happy for you. And we cannot wait to meet the new little man. Send our love to Philo and to John — and send us lots of photos! We miss you and we love you,” Carla Hall, Mario Batali, Michael Symon, and Clinton Kelly say in a short clip.

The Chew co-host announced her pregnancy during a special segment on the show in April.

“This may or may not be something you know about me,” she teased, before holding up a sign that read, “I’m pregnant.”

Oz later revealed the baby on the way was a boy. “Philo practicing for her little BROTHER!! We’re so excited,” she wrote along with a photo of her toddler pushing a doll stroller.

After welcoming her daughter in 2014, Oz admitted that she wasn’t prepared for all the surprises that motherhood entailed, including her body’s inability to immediately bounce back.

“You still look six months pregnant,” she told Fitness magazine of her postpartum figure. “I thought I knew where I’d be when I went for my first doctor appointment a few weeks after giving birth. I’d lost only 10 pounds!”

But the mom-to-be has been happily showing off her growing baby belly on Instagram, sharing snaps of her wearing everything from little black dresses to bikinis.

“Abs for DAYZZZZZ. (and my belly button seems to have gotten lost, in case you find it lying around somewhere),” she captioned a shot of her snapping a selfie.

I hate to be the 1st one to tell her…but her husband is GAY, GAY, GAY. Not that there is anything wrong with that…but just BE WHO YOU ARE!

Congratulations on the new addition to your family!

Kathy on

I’m happy for her and her family, but she adds nothing to The Chew, so hope she takes a nice long leave.

Sharon on

Thanks, Kathy ^^^^ I also think she adds nothing. The only reason she got that gig was because of who her dad is.

Who cares on

I wish the had a “who cares” emotion to click.

How can a 20-month old have been born in 2014?

rubyovertherainbow* on

So what’s the baby’s name ? Why do all these so called celebs think holding back the name makes it a bigger deal than it is. Just makes them look dumb.

cynic1018 on

wish they would cancel that silly show “The Chew”. every one of those people on that show act like a bunch of fools!

Her daughter is so cute! I think Philomena is a lovely name in itself, but “Philo” as the shortened version..ugh! I hate that! I hope they don’t choose a shortened version of their sons name (whatever it’ll be) with something so ridiculous.

Allison, why can’t a 20 month old have been born in 2014? She was born in Feb 2014, which made her a year old in Feb 2015, adding eight months gets you to now…voila, 20 months!

Claire on

Allison – Her daughter was born in February of 2014, which was one year and eight months (20 months) ago.

rubyovertherainbow*- Maybe it’s because they don’t HAVE a name to share yet. Not everyone has a name picked out the second their baby is born!

Anyway, congrats to them!

Ooh Philomena is going to have a life long best friend.

I agree that Daphne and her husband, John, should have long since chosen a name for this baby. Does the lack of a name mean that he is unwelcome? Although, my Aunt told me that my father, who was to choose the name, if a girl, took a week to give me a name. I was born on the Feast of St Brigid, the patroness of Ireland. My father, came from a farm in Ireland, I guess he didn’t know the date of St Brigid’s Feast Day, if, indeed, he even knew about St Brigid. ANYWAY, I should have been called Brigid instead of Frances.

Daphne just announced the name on The Chew. She did it the same way as she introduce and announced the name of Philomena – a video a week after birth. His name is John Jovanovic Jr. They are calling him Jon-Jon though as his nickname to distinguish between her husband and the baby.

Margaret on

Pls don’t call him John-John!! Really?

I’ll name my kid Adam Adams…

I agree with some of you…she brings nothing to the chew! All attention and no intelligence! She continues to prove that she was spoiled as a child and continues to enjoy being in the spotlight as an adult! He father is also a fake! My own doctor pointed me out to information on the internet about him that he was a quack!
