Jaime King Celebrates ‘Sacred Bond Between Mother and Child’ with New Juno Lucina Collection

Jaime King‘s special relationship with her children is something she struggles to even put into words. That’s why she’s teamed up with Juno Lucina to create a physical manifestation of her family ties.

“The motivation was to create something that could represent the sacred bond between mother and child, which is indescribable with words,” King tells PEOPLE of her special Jaime King and Juno Lucina collection. “I wanted to find a way to express it through my creativity in the medium I know best: art.”

The collection — debuted exclusively on PEOPLE.com — features a pendant, pair of earrings and ring, all available in white, yellow and rose gold.

One thing King can’t do? Pick her favorite of the three pieces.

“It’s really hard to a pick a favorite because each one is so special and unique to me,” King says of the jewelry, which will retail between $2,200 and $2,500. “I’m excited to see which pieces other moms love.”

Although King has never received a push present, she suggests the intricate pieces as gifts given to a mother during childbirth to celebrate the occasion.

“While I believe that the birth of a child is the most important gift, I think that push presents can be a sentimental gesture to a loved one,” she tells PEOPLE.

The actress welcomed her second son, Leo Thames, with husband Kyle Newman in July. Leo Thames’s older brother, James Knight, will turn 2 next month.

The Hart of Dixie star says becoming a family of four has been an adjustment.

“Obviously, it’s a dramatic change, but it’s incredibly exciting at the same time,” she tells PEOPLE. “James Knight is such a magical boy, who is learning, growing and discovering everything so quickly.”

She continues, “While Leo Thames, in his brand new little life, is just constantly sleeping and eating. As a mom to both, it’s fun to see the contrast of two little lives that are so similar yet so different.”

I freaking hate the term Push Present! So now we need diamonds after we have babies, why so we can wear them while we are sleep deprived messes covered in all sorts of human fluids?! I prefer the old fashioned “Push Present” it’s called a baby! This generation’s vapidness is really getting twisted, oh and I am part of this generation FYI!

Push Presents are about as dumb as Sprinkle Showers for a second baby.

You don’t need gifts or rewards for everything in life

“Push present” is a disgusting term and totally ridiculous concept.

The way that was written came off so stilted & phony. You can tell she got that straight off a press release & was too lazy to use her own words. And nothing about that says “bond between mother & child.” It just looks like a sideways version of Jane Seymour’s butt heart jewelry. No wonder she’s always playing the “everyone is mean to mommies card”; otherwise she wouldn’t have any soundbites to sucker other moms into buying whatever product she fronts at the moment

Nothing like celebrating the sacred bond between mother and child by buying an expensive and useless piece of jewelry. Way to cheapen the bond by associating it with “stuff”.

All aboard the shallow and expensive express.
