Somebody call Taylor Swift: Her godson is here!

Jaime King welcomed her second child with her husband, director Kyle Newman, on Thursday, July 16, she announced Monday on Instagram.

“Kyle and I named our second son Leo Thames Newman,” the former Hart of Dixie star tells

“Our family couldn’t be happier welcoming another little angel into this world. Thank you for all of the support and well wishes.”

“Jaime and Kyle were married by the River Thames and Leo means strong and powerful,” a source close to the family adds.

“We are SO happy to welcome to the world our new baby boy!” the actress captioned a family photo of the foursome in the hospital.

Newman added, “HE’S ARRIVED! So happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world. Born July 16th! Mom & Baby are well. Name coming soon.”

King, 36, confirmed the couple were expecting a sibling for 21-month-old son James Knight in February, days before she showed off her beginning belly at an Oscars after party.

But the parents-to-be weren’t the only ones eagerly awaiting the baby’s arrival: In March, King appointed one of her best friends, Swift, as the godmother.

“And @taylorswift will forever be looking over our new baby @kylenewman – we all love you!” she wrote.

King later told PEOPLE of her decision, “It was really because of her morals and her values and the way that she treats people and how hard-working she is and her family and how close she is to them.”

Despite it being her second pregnancy, King told PEOPLE it was “just as sacred” — and was proud to show off her growing baby belly.

“To me, it wasn’t racy or sexy. The reason why I posted that photo was as an advocate and as an activist for women’s bodies,” she said of daring to bare her bump.

Not only have the couple been busy putting together the perfect nursery for both the new baby and big brother James Knight, but the parents-to-be have also been deciding on a name.

“I want my child to feel strong in life and in business and what they do, but it’s still romantic at the same time … It’s not easy, but I like classic and eclectic mixed together so it’s a bit of both of my worlds at the same time,” the expectant actress, and new brand ambassador for A Pea in the Pod, told PEOPLE.

Congratulations! I’m also a mom to two boys – better sharpen your light saber skills and Lego building ability 🙂

Who writes these articles? “Someone call Taylor Swift”? Don’t you think that since Taylor is her best friend and the baby’s godmother that she’ll be notifying Taylor herself?

How nice! Congratulations to them all.

Congrats! Boys are so much fun! It took me a minute to figure out where the baby was in the nursing photo, but then I realized he was opposite of the way I was expecting to see him. I hope she recovers quickly and easily.

After her years of infertility, I’m really happy for her.

Maybe it’s just me but Taylor Swift seems to have a $#¡t load of best friends.

Leo, always liked it from Charmed. THEO would have been great, too. Nice to see a couple who’re devoted parents vs nannies. Big brother James is adorable. Peace and happiness to their little family.

Love the name so much. I was very excited to see which name would follow James Knight and I was not disappointed.

Nice for her and her family. I know she had a lot of fertility issues and miscarriages which is heartbreaking. Glad she got to add another baby to her cute family after all the tough stuff she went through. Congrats.

Congratulations! Love the name and love her! But come on People, do some fact-checking. This was not her second pregnancy, just her second pregnancy that came to term. She lost 5. Being someone who has lost one herself, they count. She has been open about her struggles; you could at least acknowledge it.
