Courteney Cox Readies Herself For Sleepover Siege
“I imagine she’s going to want to have some big sleepover,” she tells PEOPLE at Revlon’s “Love Is On” luncheon in support of the Revlon and UCLA women’s cancer research program. “I say that the party ends at around nine at night, but I’m sure that I’ll have to deal with a lot of kids.”
Cox, who recently directed the feature film Just Before I Go, isn’t a total party pooper, though. In fact, the actress says she’s a fan of almost all of the classic elements of kids’ birthday parties.
“I love the bouncy houses, I love the makeovers, all the stuff that they get to do,” she says. “It’s just that sleepover part, and knowing that they don’t sleep, that’s the only part I’m not nuts about.”
Regardless, Cox, 50, knows she’ll be waving the white flag of surrender when Coco, her daughter with ex-husband David Arquette, begs for more time before lights out.
“Oh yeah,” she says with a laugh. “She’s good at lobbying for everything! She’s got that down pat.”
As for the Cougar Town star’s own birthday, which happens to fall just two days after her daughter’s?
“Mine? At a certain point you just don’t think about it anymore,” she says with a smile.
