Drew Barrymore Embraced Turning 40: I Finally ‘Feel My Age’
Drew Barrymore‘s daughter Olive may look just like her mama, but the actress is quickly discovering that their personalities are completely polar-opposites.
“I don’t know exactly who she is, but it’s just fascinating to find out who your children are,” Barrymore said during a Tuesday appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “If you say, ‘Hi, Olive,’ she’s like [straight face].”

And these days, the mom of two — who wed Will Kopelman in June 2012 — has reached her own sense of happiness.
“When I was a kid, I felt like I should be older because I was working and not really being a kid,” she explains. “Then when I was in my 20s, I was like, ‘I want to be a kid finally.’ ”
Celebrating the recent major milestone of her 40th birthday in February finally allowed the Flower Beauty cosmetics founder to feel at peace with her place.
“Now, it’s the first time in my life that my age has met up with where my life is, and it’s perfect. I love being 40,” Barrymore says. “I always felt not my age and now I feel my age and I love it. It feels comfortable.”
