Haylie Duff shared the first photo of her 5-day-old daughter, Ryan Ava Erhard Rosenberg, on Instagram Saturday.

The Real Girl’s Kitchen host, 30, and fiancé Matt Rosenberg welcomed their first child on Monday.

“We are on cloud nine and so happy she is finally here! Thank you to everyone for all of their love, support & well wishes!” the new parents told PEOPLE.

Duff also revealed on Saturday that she was doing more than just feeding her new baby — she was also bonding over episodes of her Cooking Channel show!

“Ryan is watching her first episode,” Duff wrote on Twitter. “Surreal that she was in my belly for filming & so exciting that she’s finally here!”

Well, at least she shared the legs. Huh?

Don’t get me wrong. We don’t need to see a private photo of mother
with child nursing, but I wouldn’t call this some big sharing of a photo.

Let me guess, her name is Ryan but they will call her Ava or Ry. Ugh! Why can’t these people give their kids a normal name so they won’t have to do “nicknames.”

To the guest who commented on the baby’s name – Ryan is a very normal name. There’s no reason for anybody to use a nickname if their name is Ryan. It’s also one of those names that can be used for either a boy or girl.

Yesterday we got a hand, today a photo of some legs. I think that the privacy of your child is important, but again, what is it with showing parts of what could be any child and saying it is an “adorable” photo of said child. Posting nothing is better than this silliness.

Wow, her baby is very hairy and looks like a dog. So cute.

You know I really hate these body part snapshots. It’s like they are looking for attention but pretending they aren’t. Show the baby or don’t it’s your choice. It’s just weird.

Not sure how one commenter said Ryan was a girl or a boy’s name. I don’t where they live but where I live I have never ever heard of a girl named Ryan. It’s a boy’s name. My daughter is a second grade teacher in a fairly poor district and I’ve heard a lot of strange names for boys and girls amongst her students but even she’s never had a girl named Ryan. I think it’s kind of mean to give your child a name that will cause confusion for them for all of their lives.

JoyceJ- Just because you’ve never heard of a female Ryan doesn’t mean it’s a boy’s name! There are plenty of female Ryans out there. And there are worse things in life than having someone assume you’re the opposite gender because of your name!

Anyway, that’s an adorable picture…and she has got some LONG legs and feet!

JoyceJ you need to get out in the world. As I have already stated – Ryan is a name which could be used for either a boy or a girl. You and your daughter are not as informed as you think that you are. Oh, and if you don’t believe me then research it!

Love the name Ryan for a girl 🙂 I know several females named Ryan in my area, one who is in her late 30’s. It’s not that uncommon.
