Haylie Duff Welcomes Daughter Ryan Ava

Haylie Duff‘s bun is done baking!

The Real Girls Kitchen host and fiancé Matt Rosenberg welcomed their first child, daughter Ryan Ava Erhard Rosenberg, on Monday, May 11, in Los Angeles, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

“We are on cloud nine and so happy she is finally here! Thank you to everyone for all of their love, support & well wishes!” the new parents tell PEOPLE.

“Both mom and baby are doing great,” her rep says. “Haylie and Matt are thrilled to finally meet their baby girl and become a family of three.”

Added Duff Wednesday via Twitter, “What an exciting, love filled couple days! So happy to finally bring home the newest lil member of our family!”

After her December announcement that she was pregnant with a daughter, Duff, 30, and Rosenberg shifted their focus from wedding planning to preparing for parenthood.

But the thought of one day having their daughter present for their wedding was “pretty cool,” the mom-to-be told PEOPLE days after her pregnancy reveal.

Following a rough first trimester filled with naps, Duff experienced a surge of energy in her second trimester, which she took advantage of by exercising every day.

In March, the actress was showered with love from friends and family — including sister Hilary Duff — at her floral-themed baby bash.

“Haylie was on cloud nine. She is so excited to be a mom — you could see it all over her face!” a source told PEOPLE after the party.

And although she delighted in buying things for her baby girl, Duff did try to hold out on one thing: maternity wear.

“I was fighting the good fight on buying maternity clothes, but now I just have this massive belly and I can’t deny that I’m pregnant any longer!” she told PEOPLE in February.

“I’ve tried to not go too maternity, but at a certain point you’ve got to have room.”

E! News was the first to report the birth.

Seriously, Wow! These two people are experiencing a wonderful time in their lives and the best you could do is take a childish cheap shot at someone’s looks? Get over yourself.

I take it they will pronounce it “Ry Ann”. That would make sense.

soph on

And how would that make sense, “Ly Anna”?

I love the name Ryan for a girl!

That dude is bulging out of his pants! Eeek!

MJ — You’d think they’d invest in a photo editor or at least some common sense. It seems a little tasteless to offer this up for public consumption. Very obvious.

She is so not ugly, I think they make a beautiful looking couple…I have no doubt that Ryan is beautiful! Congrats to this beautiful couple on their little family.

@mj, I think it was a photo shop fail hahaha if u look at his shirt by the top of her belly it looks like its being pull as well too funny tho!

Nice name, but it is nothing new or ultra trendy. Holly Robinson Peete named her daughter Ryan almost 20 years ago. Anyways Congrats to them!

I supposed it makes sense, Soph, to pronounce the little girl’s name in that way because she probably, I would guess, does not have a penis. Clear it up for you any? Good 🙂

I like the name.

Like someone else has already mentioned, naming a girl Ryan may not be popular but it’s certainly not new. And the female Ryans I know all pronounce it the same way male Ryans do.

Congrats to them! What is the deal though with the 1st pic? I’m surprised they didn’t notice the situation in his shorts before they released it to the world!

Lucky she is famous… or she would not score a man with that face…

WTF is wrong with the trend of giving your girl a boy name? Poor girls when they grow up. Your parents clearly wanted ason.
