Blake Lively: I’m Looking Forward to Watching My Family Grow
While most of the world may be waiting to see a photo of Blake Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds‘s daughter James, there are still plenty of people who have been given a glimpse at the couple’s baby girl.
And word on the street is that she’s (obviously) super cute.
“I haven’t met baby James, [but] I saw a picture — not surpisingly, the picture I saw was disturbing in how beautiful she was,” Lively’s director, Lee Toland Krieger, told reporters at Sunday night’s N.Y.C. premiere of The Age of Adaline. “With that gene pool? It’s a pretty good deal.”
But Lively’s Adaline costar, Michiel Huisman, actually has met James and seconds the director’s sentiment, telling PEOPLE the baby girl is “so, so cute!”
In The Age of Adaline, the former Gossip Girl star plays an immortal. So, since she’s only human, what’s Lively looking forward to most about growing old?
“I think every year — my family is expanding, not only in my immediate family, but my siblings are having kids, and it’s nice to have that,” the actress tells PEOPLE of her growing brood.
Actress Ellen Burstyn plays Lively’s daughter in the time-bending film and believes her costar “will be a wonderful mother,” she tells PEOPLE.
“She’s a very loving person and a very well-balanced girl, and she’s very creative and has an artist in her. I can picture her playing with her daughter. I think she’ll be a wonderful mother. Both of them; I think Ryan will be a lovely parent, too.”
The Age of Adaline hits theaters on Friday.
