Rachel Zoe: Why I’m ‘Happy All the Time’

Fashion designer Rachel Zoe is a style expert, but for everything else maternity related, she turns to Dr. Michele Hakakha.

“She breaks it down in a very modern and real way, in a way that all us working moms and women on the go can really relate to,” Zoe told PEOPLE of Dr. Hakakha’s new book, Expecting 411: Clear Answers & Smart Advice for Your Pregnancy, at an event in Beverly Hills on Saturday.

“It’s just a really safe go-to, but really accurate and really genuine and really helpful.”

While Zoe is still a stylish mom, she admits that these days, her focus is on her kids, not couture. “My priorities are very different now,” she explains. “There’s just nothing like it. I’m happy all the time.”

Zoe, 43, is loving motherhood, but that doesn’t mean her life is calm by any means. Son Kaius Jagger, 14 months, is already giving her a run for her money — literally.

“He almost skipped the walking part, so he’s walking, running,” she shares. “He is talking, little words here and there and repeating everything.”

Best of all, there’s no sibling rivalry between Kaius and his older brother, Skyler Morrison, 4 this month. The brothers have bonded and even have a go-to game.

“Him and Skyler are starting to play together, which is amazing. They play hide and seek, and Skyler’s been a really incredible big brother,” the proud mama says.

I’m really happy she and her husband finally had children. As an avid viewer of her show, I knew how badly he wanted children and how uncertain she was. It’s beautiful to see them with their sons and to learn how her priorities have changed! I hope she is less stressed about work these days and enjoying the wonderful abundance of family. Many blessings.

Beautiful kids, but not it is time for mom to have her face refreshed, looking kind of old and droopy.

She looks the best she has in a very long time. You can see her inner peace and calm, good for her!

Him and Skyler….It’s a good thing she can put a look together because she’s having trouble with sentences.

em ,she sure doesn’t look happy ,or like she’s eaten anything in years. Once again ,irresponsible TV executives putting women on like her or Giuliana , who clearly have eating disorders and look absolutely emaciated .Eat something maybe ,then you won’t look sixty

I think they meant to say hungry all the time.

Ignore the haters/trolls. Rachel looks great. Her kids are gorgeous.

Happiness is much easier in motherhood if you have nannies.

Why is anyone making any remarks as to her looks…the article is about happiness and guidance with motherhood. Women really need to stop with the petty nonsense about looks….it just shows jealousy and ignorance.

One of the most unattractive people on earth.

Clearly not happy in that photo. Yikes.

She really needs a new look….cut that hair and get out of all those oggly clothes……..

How could she possibly be happy all the time when she’s not eating. She always looks miserable and this photo is living proof.

She does look older than her real age, needs to eat something more.
