You’ve never seen Dot-Marie Jones like this.

The star — who recently underwent a dramatic transformation as Coach Beiste on Glee — shrinks down to teeny-tiny proportions to voice the role of a plastic doll on the March 13 episode of Disney Junior’s Doc McStuffins.

“I have three stepdaughters and tons of nieces and nephews,” Jones, 51, tells PEOPLE. “The show has some great messages for kids and is just really nurturing.”

As Coach Kay, who goes to Doc for help fixing her broken coach’s whistle, Jones got to see a Disney-fied version of herself: “She has my curly dark hair and blue eyes and freckles. It’s so cute.”

Growing up in Hilmar, California, Jones says her favorite childhood cartoon characters included Bugs Bunny, Road Runner and Scooby-Doo. Today she names WALL-E, Cars and Frozen as her top animated picks.

Her former Glee costar — and voice of Elsa — Idina Menzel is “amazing,” says Jones.

So would she listen to Menzel sing “Let It Go” for the ten zillionth time like the rest of us? “Oh my god, I have!”
