Mike Fisher: I Want to Be ‘the Best Dad’ I Can Be
It’s a good time to be Mike Fisher.
“I’ve always tried to balance things out in life. I think that’s important, and obviously kids are going to add a different dynamic that I can’t wait for.”
Underwood, who’s keeping her due month under wraps, but did skip the Grammys because she’s too far along, is “having a good pregnancy,” Fisher told the paper. “Everything has been going great so we’re blessed that way and praying everything will go well for the next little bit.”
The 34-year-old Canadian native, who’s played for Nashville since 2011, says he’s already logged in practice time with his own nieces and nephews, as well as with kids of friends like teammate Matt Cullen, who has three sons.
“There’s plenty of three-on-one wrestling when he’s over at the house,” Cullen tells The Tennessean. “The boys love him.”
