Although Emily Blunt likes to entertain audiences of all ages, the newest member of her family, Hazel may be the youngest.

“I like to sing old standards to my baby daughter,” Blunt, 31, told PEOPLE during IWC Schaffhausen’s celebration of its Portofino Midsize watch collection at W South Beach during Art Basel on Wednesday.

The British actress, who plays The Baker’s Wife in the upcoming film Into the Woods based on the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, is loyal to certain performers.

“Some of my favorites for Hazel include songs by Ella Fitzgerald and Otis Redding,” Blunt continues. “She seems to like them.”

But her 10-month-old baby girl isn’t her only fan: Blunt’s husband, John Krasinski, 35, hasn’t complained about the constant serenades which fill their California home.

“I think John likes to hear me sing songs to Hazel,” Blunt jokes. “He has to like them!”

Blunt, who joined actors James Marsden, Jason Alexander and David Arquette and models Karolina Kurková and Adriana Lima at the timepiece celebration dinner, said she and Krasinski are very happy in their new family roles.

“It is just wonderful being a parent,” she shares.

I used to sing the first and last verses of American Pie to my older daughter. And a lullaby I wrote for her. I couldn’t stomach singing all the cutesy baby songs, either.
