Randi Zuckerberg Welcomes Son Simi

Randi Zuckerberg couldn’t be happier about her baby boy.

The children’s book author and founder/CEO of Zuckerberg Media gave birth to son Simcha “Simi” Tworetsky on Friday, Oct. 10, naming him after the Hebrew word for “joy.”

“I have a house full of boys, and couldn’t be happier!” Zuckerberg, 32, tells PEOPLE. “Baby Simi is already living up to his namesake, bringing so much joy to our family. We are in love and so thankful for this new addition.”

Simi was born in Palo Alto, California, weighing in at 6 lbs. and measuring 18 inches long. He joins big brother Asher, 3.

Both kids are sure to be tech-savvy: Their mom hosts Dot Complicated on SiriusXM and her picture book, Dot, is all about a little girl skilled with electronic devices, while dad Brent Tworetzky is an executive at online learning company Udacity. Oh, and uncle Mark Zuckerberg founded a little website called Facebook.

This makes no sense. This woman is a sister of a tech mogul – no need to highlight her life. We don’t care.

Must have been a slow day at PEOPLE.

She looks so old for 32!

Bhavana on

Congratulations!

Mary, either you didn’t read the article or you are drastically minimizing her as just the sister of a tech mogul. It says that she has a radio show, is a childrens book author, and the founder/CEO of Zuckerberg Media.

Camie on

She’s a jerk, just like Mark. Beautiful baby, though.

Simi is short for Simcha. Read the WHOLE article next time.

Slow newsday..now if Mark Zuckerberg and his wife had a baby, that would be more newsworthy.

Gill on

Congratulations to them.

She’s a celeb in the tech world…sorry if you are so caught up in choosing the right spaghetti sauce you don’t know who some of the people are who are highlighted on some of these sites, but others are aware, and they are interested. Funny…why do you think no one is interested in anything, or anyone, that you are not? And seriously, Jess? She looks so old for 32? What a laugh! She looks great…Let’s see YOUR picture!

Here we go….Vapid Troll Alert

Seems like someone naming their kid anything at all is the most talked-about item here. No, it’s not another Aiden, Hayden, Jaden, Brayden or Cayden. It isn’t a Sophia, Gabriella, Isabella, Mya, Ava or Emma. IT MUST BE TAKEN AWAY FROM THEM AND RENAMED!

Don’t be so damned shallow – care about other things in the world besides who is screwing whom or what brand of underwear Beyoncé is wearing.
The reason you don’t know who she is might be because you haven’t read anything more mentally taxing than the Enquirer.

Now either behave or go away and let the adults talk.

Why should we care about this?

Plus she looks real old.

I did not know of this woman and her accomplishments… regardless; after reading through these comments…. who would want to be in the limelight in any way (even as little as this woman is)… smh. People can be so mean when they hide behind the anonymity of cyber space.
