Jaime King Shares the Meaning Behind Her New Tattoo
And with many of her followers guessing at the meaning behind her new ink job, King, 35, followed up with a second post on Friday to set the record straight.
“I wanted a sword for every Knight had their special one [and] to represent ‘the sword of truth,’ which I believe means to live authenticity, cut through any illusions — to be a spiritual warrior,” she writes. “It says Knight in the blade. There is a heart at the helm representing the loving trinity of myself, my husband [and] child.”

As for the hands in prayer, King says that they’re a nod to the fertility struggles she faced before welcoming her baby boy.
“Praying hands because we prayed for years to conceive a child [and] the stars mean that he came from the heavens blessing us with a miracle,” she shares.
But the tribute to her tight-knit trio isn’t the first time she’s celebrated her son.
We think it’s safe to say that King’s baby boy is truly her Knight in shining armor!
