And baby makes three!

Former Bachelorette Ashley Hebert and her husband, J.P. Rosenbaum, have welcomed their first child, a source confirms to PEOPLE.

Son Fordham Rhys Rosenbaum was born Tuesday, Sept. 30, weighing in at 7 lbs., 2 oz., and measuring 18.5 inches long.

After meeting on season 7 of the ABC hit show, Hebert, 30, and Rosenbaum, 37, tied the knot during a televised ceremony officiated by Chris Harrison. In April, the couple shared exclusively with PEOPLE that a baby boy was on the way.

“I definitely saw J.P.’s profile on the ultrasound,” Hebert said at the time. “I’m gonna be living with two J.P.s!”

Recently moving to Miami to soak in some sun after a harsh winter in New York, the new parents have been busy prepping for baby, but fit in a beautiful travel-themed baby shower in July.

“They are both so thrilled,” a source close to the couple told PEOPLE in March. “J.P. is especially excited; they have wanted this for a while.”

Awww… yay! Congrats to them – and I love his name! Unique yet normal all the same. Bet he’s a cutie… can’t wait to see pics!🙂

lynnie on

Congrats to them. I am glad they have made it and have a son together. I am not sure I like the name Fordham. Anyone heard of this name before?

Dana on

Congrats but Fordham? Why do celebs do this to their kids??

maryhelenc on

Congrats to them! I dislike the Bachelor franchise, but it’s nice to see it worked out for a handful of couples! Love his name!

Dana on

He is so ugly…the baby has a dumb name but hopefully looks more like the mother.

Ashley on

SING IT DANA, totally agreeeeeed….what a “name”😦

Kimber on

Congratulations! And to those complaining about the name..maybe it’s a family name, or maybe they just LIKE it. Does it really matter? It’s their child..not yours.

Shelly on

Fordham huh? I wonder if it’s a family name…

I am so happy for them! I love JP! But where do people come up with these horrible names???

Jennie on

Dana…it should be “celebs”, not celebs…LOL!

Jennie on

He was born on my dad’s birthday!!

Brooke on

Did one of them attend Fordham University in New York?

Charlie on

I definitely thought they were going to name their son Harrison (no sarcasm)

Gwen on

@brooke……No, if they attended Fordham University the middle name would have been University🙂 Congrats to the new parents and welcome baby Fordham!

heather on

So many people are freaking out about the name…..I bet they intend to call him Ford. Is that really that crazy and absurd? It’s a strong name!

Tess on

I thought she wasn’t too easy on the eyes when she was first cast as compared to other ones on the bachelor franchise. With that said, I am happy that I am wrong. I ended up liking her the most, the one and only that I’ve actually ever liked. She’s nice, smart and seems like a great person. PJ is lucky she picked him and likewise. Happy for them. Congrats!!

Congratulations, Ashley and JP!!! Fordham is a wonderful name😀 I can’t wait to see pics of this cutie pie. So glad all is well with you guys!

Please, please let him go by Rhys….

Poor Kid! Horrible name. Congratulations on your baby!

Ashley on

Horrible name! Doesn’t flow well with the last name. Sounds like an 1800s presidential candidate.

Sam Marie on

I love the name! Especially his middle name and how they spelled it! Welcome to this crazy beautiful world Fordham Rhys Rosenbaum!

Christa on

The name is silly…

KL on

Katie on

Anna on

Now maybe they will go away and fade into the woodwork. I can’t stand her!

Not the fan of name, but congrats to them!

natonthewall on

As a guilty fan of the show, I’m so happy for and JP! I love the name, very unique yet timeless.

Marky on

Love the name, and they seem like a sweet couple. Can’t understand the need to be jerks on the celeb baby site…just seems unreasonably ridiculous. Don’t care, don’t read it, and PLEASE…don’t comment.

Sorry that’s an awful name, poor kid! Still, a baby’s a blessing, so congrats to them….

Rq on

Happy for them! But I’m wondering….the story says they “shared they were expecting a boy” in April. So what was that whole thing with the ultrasound on Andi’s “after the final rose” the night of the finale in July??

NOYFB on

It’s pathetic people are up in arms about the child’s name. Did it ever occur to anyone that the child’s name may have a meaning to the parents. Ashley and JP didn’t ask for America’s vote for the child’s name. Congratulations to the family.

Candy on

As I expected, a very pretentious name. Ashley has always struck me as someone who likes to put on airs and this name choice fits the bill.

Mandy on

Congratulations to them!

angie on

Happy they’re the one of the very few couples on bachelor and bachelorette shows actually got married.

The name is great!! Ford Rosenbaum is a very strong, masculine name that will get even better when he is an adult. I love the fact that they didn’t go with some trendy, cutsey name and picked something that they both loved. This couple really is special and has so many great things ahead of them.

Debbie on

Congrats on your new baby boy!!
