The Guncles are feeling giddy — they’re going to be dads again!

Bill Horn and Scout Masterson will welcome their second child together later this year, the couple tell PEOPLE.

“We couldn’t be happier! It’s the perfect time for an addition to our family,” Horn, 42, tells PEOPLE exclusively.

The Extreme Guide to Parenting stars – who wed in July 2013 after more than 10 years together — are already parents to 4-year-old daughter Simone Lynn, whom they welcomed via adoption in 2010.

“Simone is so excited about being a big sister and both Scout and I are only children, so we’re thrilled about being able to give her the gift of a sibling,” Horn adds.

On Monday, Horn confirmed there was another baby on the way and teased the sex by Tweeting, “[Scout] & I are THRILLED to announce that we’re having another baby later this year!” And …” leading to a fun photo of Simone holding up a sonogram that read “It’s a boy!!!”

Masterson, 40, shared the same picture of Simone, Tweeting, “Our hearts are filled with joy — AND we’re happy to say we’re expecting …”

Social media started buzzing with congratulatory Tweets soon after the parents-to-be shared the exciting news. “Over the moon excited!” friend and mother of four Tori Spelling Tweeted.

Some explanation as to who these people are would be nice.

Great news, but why do they style their daughters hair like that? It’s terrible!

Scout is the best friend of Tori Spelling, she calls him her gay husband. If you had seen her shows you would see them on the shows.

The only reason I know who these people are is because I stumbled upon the show “Extreme Guide To Parenting” on Bravo. After seeing that episode, they need to relax with being that over protective of Simone. I understand that its because they wanted a child so badly but you’re smothering the poor kid! It’s okay if your mother spends time with her and you don’t need to micromanage your mom’s every move. R-E-L-A-X guys, your child does not need to be around you 24/7.

Btw, you both need to learn how to appreciate the mom for being the watching your child and wanting to be involved. You speak to her as if she is below you. How unappreciative to have a wonderful mother and you act as if she’s a burden.

Tori doesn’t call him her gay husband. She calls her friend Merhan her gay husband. These guys are the guncles because they are Tori’s kids’ gay uncles. (Not by blood though).
Anyway, congrats.

so they’re friends with d-lister Tori Spelling. Got it. I guess that makes people famous now. Who would admit to watching that show anyway?

Don’t have the first clue who these two are, but good for them.

@Guest I agree completely! They are such jerks in the way they treat and talk to Nana. If I were her I wouldn’t “watch” Simone anymore. She can’t do anything on her own, can’t make her lunch or even play what games she wants with her. I wouldn’t put up with it!

They are just the sweetest, so so happy for them!

I thought they were loving parents but I hated the way they treated Grandma (Scout’s mother). It was so demeaning and cold. She wants to help and loves their daughter so much but these two don’t seem to care. They were kind of jerks when they went to Grandma’s apartment to inspect her pantries and fridge. They found little food and questioned what the Simone would eat if she stayed the night BUT what about questioning what Scout’s mother eats when she’s not at their house. She’s elderly and Scout doesn’t seem to care.

Saw them on Extreme Guide to Parenting and was not impressed. Raising your child so that she is completely and utterly dependent on and cannot function without you is not good parenting. They clearly love their daughter but they don’t need to be up her a$$ 24/7. She will probably hate this new baby because she will not be 100% of their focus 100% of the time and she will blame him for it. I think a little more respect for his mother is in order.

Congratulations to your family, happy news! Simone is a little cutie and will love her baby brother.
