Mommy & Me! Beyoncé and Blue Ivy Play Dress Up at Art Exhibit

07/08/2014 at 10:00 AM ET

Thousands swarmed New York City’s now-closed Domino Factory recently to marvel at Kara Walker‘s sugar-covered sphinx.

But, it turns out, nothing was quite as sweet as the mother-daughter fashion moment between Beyoncé and Blue Ivy.

In a series of snapshots uploaded to her website, Beyoncé, Jay Z and their 2-year-old can be seen taking in the artwork — and sneaking in a few snuggles!

And while we always love a glimpse at hip hop’s royal family, we were even more excited when we noticed the songstress and her adorable Mini Me used the outing to show off their matching floral frocks from Dolce & Gabbana.

While Beyoncé paired her flirty Print Cotton Dress ($1,046) with white peep-toe pumps and a low bun, Blue wore the kiddie version ($390) with Mini Melissa’s Ultragirl Jelly Kitty Flats ($50), a topknot and crown headband.

After coordinating outfits, manicures and swimsuits, we’re pretty certain they have their mommy and me style down to a science at this point.

Our only question: when can we expect a mother-daughter collection from this adorable pair?

Super cute! I adore this little family.. Every tour stop & every vacation, Blue is ALWAYS with her Mom & Dad. THAT’S how you parent. Love them!

I really like that dress. It seems like everytime we see her, she is dressed like a boy. So nice to see her in a dress with her hair up!

Sarah S. on

Such pretty summer dresses!

Cheekylady on

Oh gag…do we really care about the price, make & model of her dress?? No, we don’t. These people are extremely dangerous egomaniacs. Don’t support them by buying into their “careers”.

Liz on

Why do they mostly always shoot her kid from behind?

ddcook2 on

So cute! Love them

slawson on

Shoes have little cat faces…how cute!!

Tina on

Stop showing us these friggin’ pictures of the kid’s back. If you don’t want us to see the baby, fine. Don’t show any pics.

Kim on

She is shown from behind because, sadly, she looks like her father. There is no deying that.

claire on

Spare me.

Roze on

It’s very thoughtful of Beyonce to spare us a front shot of that kid’s face.

She is shown from behind because, sadly, she looks like her father. There is no denying that.

Beyonce and Blue Ivy are dressed perfectly for summer love love love their D&G dresses, Jay-z on the other hand looks like he is dressed for the DEAD of winter. What’s with the hot timberland boots in the blazing summer? IMO Jay-Z is way too old to be dressing this way he is approaching 50 not 15! Clothing aside, I can appreciate that the family enjoys spending quality time together. Beyonce and Jay-z seem smitten, enamored, and so in love with their baby girl.

PRETTY…….LOVE THE MATERIAL……Nice to see “dresses” on women.

Beautiful dresses, but there is no way in the world I would EVER pay that much money for an every day dress for a child. Although I do really like those little kitty face shoes!

Too freakin’ adorable!

angie on

Awww they’re pretty dresses!

charlotte on

nice to see they combed that little girls hair for a change.

K on

She’s actually wearing a dress that covers her a$$ for a change.

jenna on

For once she’s not dressed like a tramp.

NW Mama on

what cute dresses, would love to own, but will never pay that much for a dress. Wow over $300 for the little girl’s dress. She will out grow that in a few months too. Would love to have all of their hand-me-downs. LOL

Guest on

So their outfits cost approx $1500? Beyond ridiculous.

Gina on

At least we see her with her parents (all the time)..

Sash on

Too cute!

Hey Bey, I can show you loads of pretty floral frocks for you and the kid to wear that don’t cost more than some people earn in a month. Vulgar display of wealth.

Why don’t they ever show Blue’s face? And who gives 2 sh**s about what they’re wearing. Both of the parents are narcissists.

These pictures of JayZ and Beyonce tell so much… She at least makes an attempt to dress in a classy and appropriate way, while he is always dressed like a thug throwback from the late 90s. Yes, they are both classless (though talented), but agree with other comments that JayZ needs to grow up and dress like a grown man.

Lovely pics.

Meagan on

I hope some of you miserable women aren’t mothers.

Mareena on

OMG! I so want that dress, it’s so pretty. Too bad my bank account doesn’t support my taste. ;P

I love this family. Beyonce is such a great mom. I love how JayZ is always participating, They are the sweetest family in show business. I think Blue’s hair up or down looks beautiful, they don’t have to show her face, you can see the love this family has for their sweet baby girl.

Very cute matching dresses, they’re lovely.
